Release notes mentions 2.4.1.1 Gaming Technology - Introduces support for RTX Video Super Resolution https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/news/atomic-heart-dlss-3-the-finals-closed-beta-game-ready-driver (Link is dead for now, may come out later)
well seeing it need 3000/4000 series for this to work and it dont work for Firefox it usless to but it would been nice cause at this point even 4k encode on youtube is trash it doesnt even match 1080p quality. I really miss the day the developer released Direct video videos of games previews atlest those where murdered by horrid compression used these days and apparenty is had bug? that make card draw insane amount power? i see nvidia is going with DLSS on vs DLSS off charts again though

I had a problem with 528.49. It crashes Agents of Mayhem before the game starts. I hope this driver fixes that.

Does Microsoft Edge browser not work? (RTX Video Super)

New bug: With NIS upscaling resolutions enabled, Prime Video app only shows a black picture in fullscreen. (And would still be nice if NIS didn't turn off MPO so that VRR still worked in the Prime app in fullscreen. Hope the goal is to get there.)

Is this Destiny2 - LightFall ready driver?
TheDeeGee:

As in the PCI-E Gen4 and 5 speeds? If so, would setting it to Gen3 fix it?
I think its Intel generation, aka haswell series

Why would you change to OpenGL on Windows anyway? (I can understand DX11on12 but OpenGL???) Also, my 2070 has different RT cores than 30xx and 40xx, updates will come later, yes yes..... https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5448
Because Videos are running smoother on chromium based browser with some gpus@opengl.

Jeggu:

The power draw increase from RTX video super resolution is ridiculous. My RTX 3080 10GB goes from ~50W to ~350W board power draw when it's enabled while watching a Twitch stream
Check if you haven't set your power management to maximum performance. I have 4090 and 135W avg constumption when turning super resolution ON...

Gottex:

3080Ti, same power draw, disabled for now
AV1 can't come soon enough.

3080Ti power management - normal Super Resolution - 4 my native res - 2560x1440 Youtube ~150-200 Twitch ~350, GPU utilization 40-50%, 64-66'c

Installed fine (upgrade) All games working smooth, maybe tad better now with this one. Edge AI is not working in YT.

Does nothing in Edge, guess it doesn't have support for it yet.

Yeh, from the screenshots i seen it's totally not worth it unless you eyeball the screen.

its not working on my 3080

So this the right way to go if you want to waste some abundant power outside of gaming. Great work NV, especially with current electricity prices here in EU thats what everybody wants apparently.

RTX 4070Ti Power management - Normal Super Resolution - 4 My native res - 2560x1440 Youtube ~35W (can't get it to work unfortunately) Twitch ~130W, GPU utilization 48-50%, 49-50 C

Monk:

its not working on my 3080
working just fine on my 3080Ti, but the power draw while watching Twitch is crazy (~320-350w) in comparison with youtube (~150-200w)

My findings from dedicated VSR thread
Krteq:

Well... RTX 3080 10GB VSR OFF -> power consumption is cca. 25W VSR ON Quality option 4 -> Upscaling from 1080p to 1440p it consumed over 160W o_O Quality enhancement is imperceptible and there is a smearing visible sometimes, especially during scenes changes https://abload.de/thumb/obrazek_2023-02-28_17ysff9.png //It also affecting games performance with browser in background 1080p @60FPS -> 1440p @60FPS => over 250W https://abload.de/thumb/obrazek_2023-02-28_17wxdkd.png Keeping it disabled
