Some game-crashes related to "Wolfenstein: The New Colossus" on notebooks GPUs are fixed as well.
OK Nvidia, are you being extremely vague with a changelog failing to mention that the specified issue is fixed on GPU's including both desktop/notebook GPU's. Or have you still still not gotten around to fixing the issue of the game locking up when using 4K resolution that affects a large number of Pascal users on a wide variety of system configurations? This bug is especially especially frequent when using multiple monitors at varying resolutions.

It seems that Nvidia has released this driver simply because AMD released his a day earlier, pathetic.

Yes. In fact, it seems that anything that NV is releasing is because AMD is releasing something.

Still no fixes to OpenGL and Vulkan?

If regarding Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, then get yourself an AMD card.
Huh? Playing Wolf2 on Nvidia card just fine, actually I'm halfway through without a single issue.

Beaten the game with zero issues on 388.31 here. I don't have a 4K anything though.

same engine id Tech 6
It's actually 6.5 and it's a bit different from Doom's. But I have a feeling that most issues were either due to a broken async compute implementation which they've blacklisted for NV cards in the latest patch (supposedly until a driver will fix it but I have some doubts about this being a driver issue and thus don't expect it to be fixed - ever - in the same way as they've never provided intrisics support for Doom's VK renderer - it's just the new id's thing it seems, further reinforced with checks from AMD this time) or due to some local installation issues (many people got their installs corrupted somehow - likely because id/machine games did something wrong in one of their updates).

For what bugs?
A new fullscreen windowed mode bugs in both OpenGL and Vulkan and even more unrecoverably crashing the driver with DX11 in GTA V. Bad desktop performance in all 388 series. Installer still resizing all windows and even suspended UWP app to little windows on 1920x1080+ screens. I.e., first lanuch is hardcoded to 1920x1080.

I saw some users reported V-Sync on/off caused TDRs, crashes, etc. Like I said before, get me a well known YouTube tech reviewer mentioned issue with "Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus" when using NVIDIA cards & if really got issue, why I can't see @Hilbert Hagedoorn reporting it???
Setting the game to a custom resolution of 3840x2159 completely fixed all 4k vsync related issues for me.

Never had anything like it. You don't use DDU do you?

I know what you mean 😛 Seem good, same score in benchies but games feel a tad smoother. Might just be placebo lol
I swear, considering the amount of times that has been said, by now all games should run so smooth there wouldn't even be a word nor description to define the smoothness in games.

Welcome to the world. Where everyone only has concern for their own well-being. In this case, every user with issues will report how smooth their machine is, not caring to take into account the millions of machines that have been unaffected. Their machine wasn't smooth so obviously that means everyone else's follows suit. Lol. And I agree, the amount of times I've seen this stupid comment is quite annoying. Apparently every game on PC runs butter smooth on 144hz setups in 4K.
