Ah, just found after buying the Risen 2 DLC (66% off, folks!) on Steam that forced 4xMSAA+4xTrSGSSAA no longer works with these drivers using the AA flag I have. The graphics in the game itself still looks fine but the character is all glitchy and flickering on and off in the Inventory screens now. It was working fine with the earlier 302.xx drivers, which is the last time I played the game.

@ShadowDuke Nah its still physx as a base engine for physics (most U3E games), its the same by Batman AA, AC or Alice2 or that crappy DarkVoid,... Low or off is yes one and the same thing, 0. In other words its software and using only essential physx stuff.

sigh, 0 is off! I allready told you how you can test when you dont believe, low and off is both 0, so how can you say 0 is low, what is off then!? No value!? -1!? Bullets, Cars etc. does not use physx! Physx doesnt run its physics. Better check the video where they show what physx extras you get with physx enabled, and thats it, not more! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWFkDrKvBRU
PhysX does run its physics, it's a physics engine lol. Low/off means only basic CPU physics is enabled, higher settings enables GPU affected simulations that are generally too demanding for the CPU.

This is crazy All 306.xx drivers are causing flicking in SLI mode for me. Some know whats up or a fix ?.

Borderlands 2 is getting a performance patch soon. Until then, don't expect drivers to do much.

Working fine for me too. Tested on Torchlight 2 and Borderlands 2 only so far.

Drivers cleaners can be useful but only (IMO) as a last resort. I personally only use them if I switch from AMD to NVIDIA or vice versa cards to clean out the last traces of the old drivers. Even then I had one occasion where vital AMD drivers for Windows were deleted from the Repository folder and it prevented me from installing Windows 7 Service Pack 1. Fortunately, I was able to recover the files and install the service pack normally. As such I'm very wary about using them. Otherwise I do a custom install, deselect the two 3D settings and then install the new drivers over the old. This works absolutely fine for me. The only time I had problems doing it that way was when I mixed International and U.S. English drivers years ago (pre-v256.xx which was the first driver with the current installer). Now I only install International drivers and have had no problems at all across my GTX 280, GTX 580 and now GTX 680.

Just for information. I always had problem when using CCLEANER with ATI/AMD cards in Crossfire. Crossfire wasnt enabled even after installing driver, i dont remember what exactly i needed to have it working again, but it was mess. So dont use CCLEANER registry cleanup, or at least save a registry backup. With NVIDIA cards so far was no problems. In these days i dont use CCLEANER anymore, at least not for registry cleaning.

The temperature of my prifile card with 306.97 higher than with 306.23 in some PC game like BF:BC2 & STALKER CS. With card default settings and the same room temperature in STALKER CS: 306.23 - max temp. 78-79 C (fan 2700+ rpm - little noisy) 306.97 - max temp. 82-83 C (fan 3200+ rpm - very noisy)

yeah, run Stalker CS benchmark to see if also fps got increased.

FPS maybe higher, but for me there's no difference between 230 and 270 fps. I'm not sure about the numbers - is's just max fps i saw with each driver on the same game location. One thing i sure - card fans started working louder.

Then why not limit the speed, which monitor can show 230-270fps? No need to overwork the card if not needed.

PurSpyk!!, i'm not a benchmarker and just want to play comfortably with default settings. For me 360.23 looks better.

Have had 2 hard locks over 2 days with these drivers, dropped my vram OC a bit and will see if it clears up.

^ Yes this r306 kinda looks more aggressive with Vram OC.

Yeah that's what i did now with 306.89 (US) >> 306.97 (INT) and had some OC stability issues and micro gfx anomaly in Nexuiz. Im back to 306.89 for now and all is ok again. Guess it really is something with INT to US or vise versa.

well if you had a overclock instability i am guessing that its because the driver is fully utilising the hardware now and is pushing it the way its supposed to
With any driver before r301 i could run at 2280mhz, since r304 only ~2215mhz, now with r306 2200-2210mhz. Im still happy with 2200mhz though 🤓 Maybe now with r304- r306 i need more volts, i didnt try 30mv at 2250mhz+ yet, but i think i won't either..Kinda scared to push so much volts xD

I got this also, but this is an engine problem. To fix this I put the game in windowed mode (non-fullscreen) and then use Gamecompanion from Buda20 http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=39550 and the game runs stutter free!
What if you run in windows 7 compatibility mode?

What voltages and clockspeeds are you running right now?

Since r304 for 2150mhz (10mv) before up to ~ 2180mhz, 2200mhz (20mv) before up to ~ 2280mhz. I think my gpu uses Samsung chips, i saw Hynix overclocks lower. And by gpu 900mhz i had to raise +6mv (1.056v), before r301 i was ok at 1.049v. 🙂 I noticed Crysis2, Nexuiz, BF3 are the most stressful atm.
Will try tonight (at work right now...) But stutter is present on my windows 7 rig also...
I see, guess its worthless if its happening in Win7 too, maybe try Vista compatibility just in case or yes stick to borderless window for now.
