Why Nvidia even bothered releasing 306.89 yesterday? 306.97 drivers add support for 650Ti cards too.

Im still getting low GPU usage with these drivers. it makes the game stutter alot! -.-

BF3 juddering is eliminated for me when I run in a borderless window, as it is in virtually all games including Skyrim/Sleeping Dogs/Darksiders II. Unfortunately I get punkbuster kicks when I run the game this way.
I don't seem to remember games having performance issues like this when I was using a 570 with the exact same setup otherwise. I am starting to wonder if the 6xx series cards have some sort of compatibility issue with my motherboard or another component in my PC.

Thanks 😀

Good drivers for me no problem on FIFA 13 , Sleeping Dogs or Torchlight II.

CAnt say there any performance difference from the 306.23, But I can say AO actual works in these drivers and dont say In compatible like the 306.23, In fact these first 30x.xx drivers that actually have AO working in Swtor

What sli mode choose for guild wars 2? AFR 2? boost seems to underclock on wvsw, not getting the full power.

I noticed that these are more sensitive to Vram OC. That earlier Win7 306.89 (r306_41-12) was ok at higher OC.. Maybe because 306.97 is suppose to be a official Win8 driver?
I tried Nexuiz (dx11, ultra, shading - high), last time was with 306.23 and now it reset my OC at 2215mhz, but passed at my usual 2200mhz..
And I saw a small glitch with blue shaft lights, it was just at one particular spot (level) and not always, but always reproducable if I ran around it in circle -it flashed for a mili second (flat 2d texture) same blue color.. Idk i didnt notice anything like that with 306.23 or 306.63.
I think I'll go back to that unofficial win7 306.89, it looked smoother as overall.

I'm very happy with these, with 306.23 I was getting random BSOD's with BF3. Played a few games and no crash's. BF3 also feels that little smoother, could be placebo though.

0 is low. Of course physx has to be there, it runs the games.. well its runs its physics. Jumping, cars ramping, bullets flying. Ext. Low (off) is the bare minimum the game can get away with physx wise.
The game ran fine for me with physx on high my first play though. But then when things start to get intense on my second play though my fps plummeted. On low physx the fps gets at least a solid 60 now, everything else maxed.

So far so good with these drivers, no issues to report back with 🙂

sigh, 0 is off! I allready told you how you can test when you dont believe, low and off is both 0, so how can you say 0 is low, what is off then!? No value!? -1!?
Bullets, Cars etc. does not use physx! Physx doesnt run its physics.
Better check the video where they show what physx extras you get with physx enabled, and thats it, not more!
