Is this newer/better than the latest Win10 driver that came over win update?
I don't think so. I went back to 1046.2

What version are you currently on ?
You need to run a version >= 1.5.915
What's new in 3DMark 1.5.915 This is a minor update. Benchmark scores are unaffected. Note that while Windows 10 is in development there may be unforeseeable compatibility problems with some hardware configurations. Improved SystemInfo module updated to 4.39 for improved detection of upcoming hardware from AMD and Intel. Compatibility API Overhead feature test updated to work with Windows 10 Technical Preview build 10130. Known issues AMD Catalyst Driver 15.200.1023.5 for Windows 10 has an issue that prevents the DirectX 12 API Overhead test from working on Radeon R9 280, Radeon HD 79xx series, and Radeon HD 78xx series graphics cards. We expect AMD to fix the issue with its next driver update. Intel HD Graphics Driver 10.18.15.4204 for Windows 10 does not appear to have working full screen DirectX 12 support. We are investigating this issue for a future update.

max res. for 7790 still 2560x1440 What is the optimal framerate value for frame rate limiter using 70 Hz monitor?
data/avatar/default/avatar37.webp
Can anyone compare these vs the 1065 drivers? Those should be newer, right? Do they have the CS:GO improvements?

VSR is working for me now!!
What monitor do you have? What's the maximum resolution?
https://forums.guru3d.com/data/avatars/m/255/255573.jpg
Assuming your PC can handle use monitor refresh rate - 2, so 68 (reduce input lag)
zhanx, well catalyst says 70 Hz (eizo fioris 2333) windows say 60 hz

I have a Dell U2412M 1200p monitor and maximum VSR resolution is 1600p. I'm using win 8.1 x64 and the monitor is connected via DVI cable.
Yeah that should be your maximum.

I got 3200x1800 and 2560x1600 because I have full hd (well tv) and 1200p monitors. The lower one is for the 1200p monitor. Displayport for monitor and hdmi 1.3 for that tv.

Thanks for the heads up, guys! But after reading the list of known issues I'm going to wait for the next one and keep using 1046.2.

I also got an HDTV hooked to my main rig, 40in tv bigger than any monitor out there. I can play push my chair back and chilax while gaming. I get 3200x1800 too. But i am already itching to get me an ultra wide display. The FOV is so awesome specially in witcher 3 and far cry 4 man look at this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JCqHmQas3_Q But i don't want a monitor, i want a TV with that kind of resolution 3440x1440
I'm waiting for affordable 4K projector. ๐Ÿ™‚

You need a big ass flat wall for it to really look nice, and you still get washed up colors. It might be easy to carry around, depending on size, but you can never deny the black screen its glory.
I've had some great projectors with great colors. My tv plasma and my monitor is 10bit awesomeness ๐Ÿ˜€ I need "cheap" as in with good quality colors still but not the 20 000โ‚ฌ ones. I will have enough space for projector tho :P

Well if anyone is crazy enough to buy a 20000 bucks projector they should just get an 8k one for 30000 bucks and open a theater/cinema. ๐Ÿ˜€
True ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€

I can't find CCC in Windows 10. Am I just stupid or is it hard to find?
Right click desktop. Click "AMD Catalyst Control Center"

Lol i doubt the guy had trouble figuring to try that out. I think he meant that it isn't showing up at all.
Worth a shot ๐Ÿ™‚

Still doesn't show Feature Level 12.0 support for my R9 290
DxDiag and DxCapsViewer are Direct3D 11.x tools, they can only report Direct3D 11.3 features under Windows 10. You can use my command-line tool to report Direct3D 12 features.
Does that come later or is there something broken?
R9 290 supports level 12_0 since driver 1023.3 from late May - however the difference between level 11_1 /GCN 1.0 hardware and level 12_0 /GCN 1.1/1.2 hardware is minimal: all AMD cards basically support the same set of optional features and they only differ by Tiled resources Tier 1 vs Tier 2, which is really a very minor change that doesn't have any practical implications.

Still no VSR option in CCC. ๐Ÿ™

Hmm i seem to be getting better FPS in Witcher 3 but it could be placebo. Anyone confirm if these drivers are older than 1046.2? Bur even if they theyre older, they could have more optimization right?

I've the same issue and I think it's something related to crossfire, if you disable it the delay disappear....
It's related to zerocore, if disabled, windows boot fine, but in my case with moded driver for vsr, zerocore is always enabled giving 10s delay :/
