Sounds like display underflow. Do you know which firmware version it's on? Can you tell us which connectivity method you're using for it?
im on 3.16, 2.03 which is the only firmware it came with, using new DisplayPort 1.4 cable which i bought lately to resolve this issue, also the flash of white which is happening in chrome only sometimes happens for more than 1 frame - 0.5s very rarely

Dunno i game with Chrome open watching Twitch or Youtube on my 2nd monitor and with Discord without any issues.
Win10 or 11? Refresh rates? Freesync?

Out of interest, does it happen with other browsers like Edge, Firefox etc. Does it stop happening if you plug in another display (if you have one available)?

As usual I have zero issues what so ever and everything runs perfectly. Another stellar AMD driver for me! Why don't you guys just switch to FireFox? I did years ago and never looked back. Way better privacy and soon chrome will block ad-blockers which would make the internet an absolutely terrible place to be.
Haven't got any issues so far aswell. I had some issues with older drivers. When using Android Studio my screens sometimes just turned black, but haven't seen the issue after reset to win 10 (haven't tested much aswell). Anyways, let's hope the next driver will be even better 😀

Win 11, b550 mb with drivers/bios up to date and smb enabled. Freesync enabled on gaming monitor and not enabled on secondary monitor. Refresh rate of both monitors is 144hz and i usually try to get 100+ fps in games. All drivers gimmicks people spend thousands of $$$ for these days (apparently) are turned off. No reflex or whatever it is called for AMD, no super resolution, no hyper resolution, no fake fps boosting, no nothing outside of freesync. Monitors are MSI Optix MAG27CQ and GB G34WQC. Both connected with VESA certified DP cables.

FFS with all these stupid BS DRIVERS, STUPID AMD I HAVE FREAKING BSOD RANDOMLY when just having NETFLIX opened, NOT playing anything, and just surfing chrome!@#!@!! The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000133 (0x0000000000000001, 0x0000000000001e00, 0xfffff8041af1c340, 0x0000000000000000). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\100522-6937-01.dmp. Report Id: 225fe7dc-5dab-4d94-b038-e8d3b81207a6. The previous system shutdown at 17:06:27 on ‎05/‎10/‎2022 was unexpected. The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000133 (0x0000000000000001, 0x0000000000001e00, 0xfffff8041af1c340, 0x0000000000000000). This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly. I'm going back to freaking WHQL DRIVERS because I can't use my computer more than 1 hr without freAKING BLACK FREAKING SCREEN If you say you don't have a problem with 6000 series, then use Windows 11 22H2 or 21H2 and have Netflix opened without playing anything, just minimize it and surf chrome, you will 100% have a black screen after 3 hour or so! I have Single display, LG OLED CX 55 TV with newest firmware, I never had black screen like that only because of HDMI cable, after I replaced it I had none until AMD started with the Hardware acceleration crap. And stupid AMD can't enable VRR support !!!! only FREESYNC, none of HDMI Switch work with FREESYNC so they block me from using anything!!! not only that they only put 1 HDMI connector on the GPU?@#?E@# who the F needs 3 DP?? 2 HDMI and 2 DP are enough! So I'm losing PERFORMANCE because I don't have WDDM3.1, with 6900XT their best GPU card I'm getting crap performance compared to any Nvidia 3000 because they can use newest drivers!!!!!! SHAME SHAME SHAME confirmed that a new feature called “IOMMU DMA remapping” is being introduced with WDDM 3.1. In version 21H2, dxgkrnl (DirectX driver) only supported IOMMU isolation through 1:1 physical remapping which means logical pages accessed by the GPU were translated to the same physical page number. With WDDM 3.1, Microsoft is allowing GPU to access memory through logical addresses, thus resulting in better performance. IOMMU DMA remapping - Windows drivers | Microsoft Learn

Honestly... most people don't post if they don't have a problem to report. The "these are awesome and everything works" sorta posts are pretty rare on most forums for almost all hardware.

I have basically the same setup except my second monitor has a different refresh rate. Hmm... I'm going to test the first WDDM 3.1 Driver which appears to be 22.7.1 If that doesn't work out then 22.6.1 which is still WDDM 3.0 but interestingly reports that it has HAGS support. //edit 22.7.1 Also driver timeout issue. 22.6.1 Same timeout issue.

It's true but it can still help people having problems to provide information if things are going well for you. Example. I had a freesync problem (brightness going up and down) when i bought my MSI Optix MAG27CQ. It was my first freesync monitor so I assumed freesync sucked and turned it off. Then someone told me he had the same gpu and monitor as me and he had no problem. Only difference is he was not using the cheap awful cable provided by MSI and was using a vesa certified cable (not an expensive one just certified). I bought the same cable as him and boom i had no problem with freesync anymore.

What speed your memory is set at? I have 4133Mhz memory and when it was set to 4133Mhz the computer was stable but when gaming and steaming the drivers would crash once upon a while (2-3 times a week). I reduced the speed at 4000Mhz and it is now fully stable when gaming.

And that's the crux to all this. There is something key with one's setup that they themselves have to diagnose in order to get a good solution. Specially when a particular issue seems to be limited to one or a few individuals. However, during that time one can certainly ask for help. But cussing everyone out or being disruptive in the thread has certainly never helped solve the problem nor motivated anyone to offer any solutions either. Just saying...

That's fair enough. I like to think we can still lend a hand to people running into issues - not trying to invalidate them in any way.

I use Vivaldi, it's Chromium based stuff that breaks the driver, which includes Discord too

Does anyone know if just placing OGL dll's in a game dir still works to use older OGL dlls? I'd like to stay on the latest drivers but only use old OGL on games that have issues. I remember that being a thing a long time ago but can't really find any info again.

Most people don't post because they don't have the knowledge and the time to spot a bug.

An alternative option which is similar to what you're wanting to do is to use Mesa on Windows https://github.com/pal1000/mesa-dist-win You can do a global installation or per app basis with the included batch installer. This also includes the Zink wrapper (Vulkan wrapper for OGL). So you can use the OGL Mesa driver itself or additionally use the Vulkan wrapper

Using 22.5.1 No crash-watching Netflix or chrome compared to 22.6.x none stop black screens and losing signal and BSOD 0x00000133

So, probably good news on dx11 optimizations?! Have to check it out on my Vega 64!
Edit: Tested Assassin's Creed Origins, same crap. 🙄 With Dxvk, the same much better! Amd vanguard, my behind!

Hmm, that's interesting. 22.6.1 is the last one for me that works 100% with everything I do, so I've been recommending that one to friends for now. Anything past 22.6.1 for me has been much the same as most. Stutter/hiccups with videos in chrome (and madvr/mpc-hc with gpu accel). Crashing/gfx errors with OGL games. I haven't tried these ones as of yet, but gonna still give it a go when I have time.

22.6.1 also has timeout issue for me.
