RX 580. Can't install these. Installer crashes to desktop without a whimper. Will keep poking at it.
EDIT:
-some other instances of this noticed by other users
-reboot did not fix
-DDU did not fix
-Redownloaded and manually extracted did not fix
-Running previous installer, canceling and then running latest installer FIXED. Weird.
Radeon Software Adrenalin 2020 Edition 21.1.1 Highlights
Reflections in Grand Theft Auto V™ may fail to appear when ‘Reflection MSAA’ is enabled in the game settings.
Anisotropic Filtering in Radeon™ Software graphics settings is not taking effect in DirectX®9 applications on RDNA graphics products.
YES.
The GTA V Reflection MSAA has been broken on RDNA since July 2019 (the entire lifetime of RDNA).
And YES to finally making the barely functional AF setting in the driver at least work on the only API it was meant to work with anyway. Next up, making AF API agnostic.
Not listed as a fixed issue nor acknowledged issue-- yet for anyone wondering, Quake II RTX still crashes in the COMM CENTER map, just as before -- 100% of the time / first time firing gun 2 or 4 at an enemy. {display driver crash}

Glad to hear it. The game being listed as supported, yet no mention of problems, had me a bit worried. haha
Additionally, these new drivers seem to often crash on map 2 (the map prior) -- roughly at the point of picking up the nail gun {also on hit contact shooting enemies with the shotgun}. 20.12.1, 20.12.2, never had that happen over several dozen runs. Bit less stable than the last release.
-- Just finished testing with and without RBAR, and with capping the clockspeed at 2ghz. ... About to rollback to 20.12.2 to verify doubly that this isn't coincidence.
EDIT: 21.1.1 is definitely less stable, hours of gameplay testing, and crashes pretty consistently on map 2 now. Which it did not before.
As a fresh owner 6800xt, should I install them over prev or with standard tactic-uninstall, DDU, then install?
That was my steps always with RadVII, but had 6 months NV GPU after ^^, so...

I've been doing both intermittently {for the sake of troubleshooting} in addition to full OS rollbacks [with backup software], yet find that install-over has caused me **no problems** thus far with each release from 20.11.x through 21.1.1.
You'll probably be just fine with an install over.
Adrenalin 20.12.2 / 21.1.1 + Horizon Zero Dawn patch 1.10
Invisible trees! o_O
Previous patches 1.08 and 1.09 are ok. Probably the patch is the cause of the problem but I can't find any complaints about that on Internet. Anyone else?
