Vulkan shader cache once again works as expected, probably was just a minor validation issue of the RT developer driver. It's nice that AMD gets extensions so quickly into their consumer drivers.

R.I.P support RDNA and GCN cards, 🙁

After installing 20.11.2 I was getting random crashes in AC Valhalla. My system was rock solid stable on 20.11.1. However, Ubisoft also updated the game a couple of times from 1.03-1.04 during that time so I can't workout if it's the game or the driver. I've installed 20.11.3 to see if I still get the random crashes.
A side note, Adrenalin software is reporting wild numbers for game played time on the home screen (Recent games).

@=GGC=Phantomblu post 13 is the solution. What you think is the fault here ? Keep the answer for yourself.

According to this info RIS works on RX 470 (GCN 1.4) and newer, but it's not true.
R5 M430 (GCN 1.0) and R9 Fury (GCN 1.3) can use RIS as well.

@SpajdrEX do you still take part in vanguard?, its been brought to my attention that several games have been broken on AMD drivers for some time.
Mark of the Ninja and Shank 2 have all of its animated objects invisible

Performance wise AMD's aware of this problem but haven't said much else to the best I've found at least and RDNA2's affected by the same problem as RDNA1 was with D3D9 and there could be other issues as well.
EDIT: Wonder if the Vulkan issue mentioned in ReShade was ever resolved, Crosire contacted AMD but after a short response it's just been silence and the workaround code is still there so I presume it's not been fixed.
It takes a while, D3D9 has had a lot of stuff broken reported about back as early as December last year.
Seemingly this was silently resolved...in the 20.11.2 drivers.

Can only recommend you DXVK instead of native D3D9 with RDNA. E.g. Dishonored has severe slowdowns when rapidly moving the camera, which is completely gone with DXVK. While the AMD Vulkan driver can have some CPU overhead issues with it e.g. in Mirror's Edge, DXVK still boosts CPU performance in Borderlands 2 by ~40-50%.
