Im using it for PGA Tour 2008 -> Needed to lower VRAM to 3900MB 😛
4GB or more and game won't start, one downside for it is Reshade don't work with it.

Basically many old games dont work.
I test also dungeon siege 1 and battle for middle earth 2.
@Astyanax i care about the bug i dont even play theese games. I only test the driver.

DX8 and DX9 games are running fine here. What exactly isn't working for you? Are you gettings some error dialog? Anything in EventViewer?

1)Clean install the driver.
2) Install Visual C++ package (the newest)
Try again.

Last driver that work with these games 20.9.1. So has nothing to do with visual c.
I have tried install above 20.9.1
I have tried clean install with amd tool.
I have tried install after using ddu.
I have HDMI monitor and the resolution 1024x768 in a 1980 monitor for these games and i have test all of them after 20.9.1.
@Krteq the game start and after two seconds the screen goes to desktop and the game runs at background like it stop loading, because they use very little ram as i noticed like 30 mb.
What directx8 games did you test ? Can you tell me.

I found the problem so i leave it here for anyone else.
If i have cisco web meetings installed, after the driver 20.9.1 these old games dont work.
I unistalled web meetings games start, i reinstalled web meetings games dont start after a pc restart.
For now i uninstalled it and games start normally and also after a pc restart.
Where to report this bug at cisco?

My girlfriend is playing Zoo: Tycon and Harry Potter regularly on my PC. Those applications had single issue with RTSS overlay, so it's disabled for those games executables and it's working like a charm.
Does that Cisco Web Meetings app using some kind of overlay or injector?

D3D9 is fairly busted on RDNA and has been on and off on RDNA1 too which now carried over to RDNA2 and might have gotten even worse.
EDIT: AMD's acknowledged it at least in a earlier AMA but no additional info and so far they're fixing it on a per-game basis.
(Judging by bug reports from emulators on Github there's also something wrong with D3D9 and SM3.0 vertex shaders here in newer drivers.)
EDIT: Though I see they now start at least without that CISCO software, glad to hear it's not regressed further then it's mostly about performance. 🙂
(EDIT: And that's a 580 not a 6800 whoops I seem to have misread that GPU listing quite impressively.)

ok i have a problem since updating both 20.11.2 -20.11.3 when i shut down pc it will close down windows but leave fans and m/b powered up only way to shut down is hold power button till it shuts off , now if i do clean install off windows and install 20.11.1 its fine but i just did up date to 20.11.3 problem is back and before some one says fast start up it turned off in reg and chk it to
