bf4 + mantle running great now.

Mantle is workign good with my 7870 ghz now,, just a few hiccups 😀 WOW what an amazing driver.

sounds like its 80, and vsync is dropping to 40 because it cant maintain 80.

Top! Fixed my crossfire problems with Thief and Mantle in Bf4 works better. ( But still a memory leak, so i have to stay with DX11)

How to check your Mantle version? Or OCL in drivers (can only see d3d and ogl, ocl needs to be checked in gpu-z). Hope this will resolve poor mantle perfomance (less than d3d11) with 7850 1GB;

Windows folder, System32 folder, scroll down to Mantle.dll, just hover over it. 🙂

he meant your motherboard info...Asus isnt very descriptive so we cant tell weather you have intel IGP. If you have anything other than a P67, you do indeed have intel IGP and it needs to be disabled.

With which cable is your display connected? It should be Display Port and not HDMI or DVI. And it should also be a new enough cable. CCC shows 60 Hz with this resolution?

No integrated graphics, no custom cfg or BF4 profiles. I didn't do a clean install as I was coming from 13.12 but I guess I have no choice but to try it. i did try it with 14.1 with no success. Thanks.

It's good practice to clean install.

Colour Temperature @ 6400k bug still in these, just put mine back to 6500k :P

But is the bug that wiped out my Windows install still present? It's just lovely having my PC hard lock with the display in stand-by....then hitting the reset button just to end up getting a BSOD on boot because multiple system files corrupted when the system locked up....

Im downloading now. In a few, im off to trade my 560ti 448 for a HD 7850 2gb. 🙂 I still have my gtx 470. Be nice to try out mantle.

Thanks Asder00, Could you please add my card its missing from the .inf AMD689C.1 (Asus Ares) I have not been able to use a beta since it went to the 14 branch, my card was not listed in 14.1 and its not listed in 14.2. i tried 14.1 Device manager say radeon 5900 series first gaming session it CTD. so went back to WHQL. I know that the 5900 series is supported but every time that a driver set is released with no AMD689C.1 support I get CTD 100% every time. Thank you

Only difference i saw between 14.1 and 14.2 was that the stuttering in battlefield 4 was not per 5 seconds, but per 10, so that's something right? If they can make it stutter per 1 day with the next beta driver it'd be great.

+50% power limit DOES NOT WORK AT ALL in any overclocking software: TRIXX MSI AB or GPU TWEAK. Even Overdrives +50% power limit does not work.

Not an option.... I sell my computers when I'm done with them. I can't sell a computer that doesn't function properly.

It was 250$ when I bought it) And it still plays everything fine. ~60 fps on ultra with d3d11.1 in bf4. Mantle shouldn't offload load from cpu to gpu. It should offload load fro cpu and thats all) But as it turns out memory management is much better with d3d11.

If you offload from the CPU, the data has to be processed somewhere else...otherwise the system doesn't work. For graphics data, it makes the most sense to offload it from the CPU to the GPU.
