The annoying automatic popup for audio has been fixed. And it no longer defaults to HDMI audio if you don't install the driver for it.

Just ran the Metro 2033 bench, and saw an increase there, previous drivers was a 61avg, these give a 65avg, gona try the LL bench now. 🙂

Ooh, nice, downloading now, will install for both my 3-way HD79xx series as well as my 3rd rig with a HD6990 + HD6970. I was at the nV 320.18 driver section (I have a pair of GTX670 as well) and man, did nVidia drop the ball on that one! Though it seems to mess up Fermis, I'm leery of installing it for my GTX670's just because.....:3eyes:

I teased Thracks that C++ 2010 package in Catalyst is not the newest one and that this one is newest: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=26999 Ok, they beated me up, with the most recent one 😀. Also I hope that some most persistent DX9.0c bugs were fixed...
it was really more of an irritation with having to reininstall the security updates every stinkin time...

The HDMI audio dropout still isn't fixed. What the hell is wrong with AMD? How many YEARS does it take to fix this? This is still the only fix that works for me, but you are keeping your card from going into a low power idle state, from what I understand. open regedit and find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Video\{XXXX...}\0000 ( 'XXXX' means device number. There are several device number folder and u should find 'AdapterDesc' in 0000 folder which key value is 'amd radeon HD 7XXX Series'. ) At that '0000' folder, Change 'PP_SclkDeepSleepDisable REG_DWORD' value 0 to 1. and reboot~!~!~!
