Small not on this release: it is still an old good 2.2.3 binaries with altered database to add support for new MSI cards like 660 Hawk series. So there is zero need to upgrade if you don't own it.

I have massive flickering on my 7970 when using either unofficial OC mode on windows 8. I'm pretty sure its the dlls to extend the clocks. Is there any fix for that?

Nope, 2.3.0 is not delayed and it is in closed beta testing stage. In meanwhile MSI just decided to launch intermediate 2.2.5 version to provide support for 660 Hawk.

Read above, it is renamed old 2.2.3 binaries, it has no new code, just new database entries for 660 Hawk. Don't expect new features from it.

I keep being prompted to download the v2.2.5 update when I already have v2.2.5 beta 1 installed from the original link Afterburner pointed me to earlier on yesterday. At first I thought it was an update to a non-beta build but if I download and install it again from the same link then it still shows as v2.2.5 beta 1! I'm using Windows 8 Pro. /is confused

Once again, small note for impatient boys hating MSI for not improving Lightning voltage control since 2.2.3. There were no real Afterburner updates since 2.2.3. Both 2.2.4 and 2.2.5 do not contain any fixes and new features, MSI just modify the database of supported cards and relealease the same old 2.2.3 version under different version number. Changes can be expected in 2.3.0 only.

Yep. The OSD does not work with Crysis and Crysis Warhead either. (in Windows 8).
