I think I'll be early adopting this one too, just like I did with my current ddr3 setup :P Hope to buy a whole new platform .. whatever it may be.

DDR4 will make almost no difference in a gaming rig, i'm fairly certain
Like DDR3 didnt make a difference from DDR2, right?

meh wake me up when quantum memory becomes mainstream

I really don't think memory makes much difference in a gaming rig anyway. May as well just buy a rig now like hallryu said DDR4 will make almost no difference in a gaming rig, i'm fairly certain
It's been so with every generation. It would be nice to see a much faster speed bump this time around so that integrated GPUs could have useful amounts of bandwidth.

I just see massive diminishing returns on DDR4. The cost is going to outweigh the benefits. Seeing as DDR3 has not hit a wall yet.

You could be waiting quite a while. I think you will definitely get another build in before DDR4 becomes mainstream.
probably right, but before I actual go after a new build I have to actual get new gpu that I actual keep and not send back cause of whining or it being to much lol
