It will be interesting to see what they can do with those awful Crysis visuals. It's always been number one on my list of games that could use a reboot with modern graphics.

If they can release it before November, I'm quite sure people will pick this up.
But will it be hard to run, killing a 2080TI like Cyberpunk with RT does? 😀

Crytek is like an old uncle going through a midlife Crysis trying to prove they're still hip and relevant. They were great in 2007 then went downhill.

Yest they were fantastic. When Far Cry came out before that I was amazed too, and the fairly open environment allowing multiple mission paths Far Cry is looking dated now though. Far Cry 5 has pretty immersive environment and graphics keeping on the tradition.
Looking forward to what this looks like.

I will give it a shot thats the only chapter I did Not finish, I found part 1 a little water down with the bad acting ect....Part 2 and 3 where both Blockbuster titles I still love playing em both from time to time! Its what a game Schould be.

So weird because Hunt Showdown looks great - why didn't they just properly recreate it?

It looks like all they did was add that old school cfg edit to the game. This is ...well...money saved. Not enough here to justify purchasing again.

This has to be a mod or something? This just looks like someone added darker shadows and an insane post-process smoothing filter.... those trees lose so much detail in these shots.

The screenshots and trailer are all on the Microsoft store landing page for the remaster. So unless Crytek is going to pull a switcharoo and those are just placeholders, that's definitely what we are getting. But it would be weird to do that yet update like Prophet's suit with reflections for a switcharoo trailer.

Wasn't or isn't Crytek having some financial troubles? I smell a quick and cheap cash grab incoming.
If this really is a remaster can they remaster the boring ass alien part near the end of the game out or would that take too much effort for a cheap cash grab?
