I live in the UK and have heard the term used a lot but it was made popular by US TV shows. HIMYM (How I Met Your Mother) even dedicated an episode to the topic. While I wouldn't go that far to call it a 'Tramp Stamp', it does look like a crappy and cheap tribal based tattoo. However, my main concern is the use of a static colour within the logo. The colour itself is a horrible choice being a rather dull, putrid yellow. Is that really anyone's choice of colour for a logo design? The new logo should have been a static colour much like the Corsair 'Sails' logo is with the option to have it in different colours. When I saw the new CG RGB-MX keyboards, the only thing that was an issue was the logo sticker thing that by all reports is not easily removable. I though Corsair missed a trick here as they could have had that as an LED logo much like the logo on the 'i' series AIO coolers and then it would light up in the chosen RGB colour of the user's choice. As it is, it is a rather ugly 'Tramp Stamp' indeed on a very luxury product.

Idk I dislike the gaming logo. The corsair sails were cool, stylish and not gaudy like most gaming designs. I understand that companies like to brand things and I'm sure it helps with sales but in this case with the backlash I kinda hope they just revert it. I'm glad I bought my K70 RGB before they switched.

It's not as bad as it's made out to be but I too prefer the sails logo. My K70 would look pretty bad when the red/black is disrupted by a yellow thing. If this was on a power supply I couldn't care less but a keyboard is something you see constantly in front of you so aesthetics DO matter there. The outburst about the issue just proves how important it is.

I prefer the original sails logo tbh. I hope that the select retailers that will still sell versions with the original logo wont be limited to the USA.

Honestly, i'm not seeing the swords, i first see the stamp and then the swords. And I really *really* think that it's absolutely stupid to change your logo to something completely different in one go instead of gradually. People will be looking for the sails and skip the sabres logo. People don't read the words on the boxes when browsing. I know about many companies that went away because they changed their logo in a single day completely. Want to use the swords? integrate them in the sails logo, wait for some years, then change the colour on the sails to something that won't be as visible, and then take them off completely. People won't even complain.

Who cares about a logo? It's about the product not a stpid picture.. Seriously, ppl get upset about stuff like this? LOL
Lots of companies that changed their logo completely in one fell swoop went under. People couldn't find their boxes when browsing, they weren't seeing the image they were familiar with.

North west here and heard of Tramp Stamp before, but i never knew what its was really, i thought it was a tat on the ankle or something that was home made. Will have to keep an eye out for these now as i might get a free jump out of it. I'm not sure what all the raging is about. I mean they are entitled to make a logo to be whatever they want (within reason) obviously. If you like it great, if you hate it, great. Who cares? I personally find it an odd choice because it is very tramp-stampy.. those who know and have seen their share of tramp stamps I cannot see disagreeing with this.. it just looks gotti and douchebaggy to me. Oh well.

Corsair will still use the ship/sails logo on most of their products. The new logo is strictly for the "Corsair Gaming" products. They will effectively have 2 different logos, similar to what Asus does.
Tramp stamps were popular maybe a decade ago. Its mostly a sign that displays that this particular female is not wife material and is a one night stand.
It actually means nothing. It's just a tattoo on the lower back. It has nothing to do with whether or not a woman really is a "tramp"...
