Oof, at 20-25k, you might be better off getting a real miata and doing track time 😀

I would like to think that 25k is a price for a whole sim, wheel, pedals, shifter, VR/Monitors, PC, and any needed thing (like the last picture). I have seen people putting serious money in their sims to practice and improve times in their track days.

Wait what ... 20-25K for a bunch of bend pipes?

Even with that, and a high end rig, you are not paying more the $7-8k. Only full motion high end rigs cost cost 20k. I doubt something like this from cooler masters is gonna be a high end sim setup. One of the most expensive sim setups ever cost $1 million, and the avg for profession race teams is $100,000.

That's ridiculous, doesn't even come with heated seats.

Most of the "pro" rigs are made of aluminum-profile (like the monitor stand in last picture) as its more flexible and "standard" across all manufacturers - since you can bolt on any attachment designed to attach to profile from any manufacturer. These type of "custom" round welded profile look nice, but not very practical or useful with third party attachments... like shifter/handbrake/speaker/butt kicker/table-top/mouse/button-box mounts or motion rig enhancements by adding actuators etc.

Exactly. Here is an example of a motion rig, higher end.

And more higher end with single monitor but triples isnt far from this.
