Can't wait for the day you need to buy each track as DLC, and maybe teams too if you wanna use them: so you start has HAAS or Williams and if you want any other team, buy it! 😀

The inevitable outcry on the internet and the inevitable response from ea that gamers take pride on their grinding! Only 2000 hours to unlock Ferrari for free !

RT in racing games is a complete and utter waste of time. Assetto Corsa Competizione new that its why they removed it.

I mean in game when you're doing 200mph i doubt you'd see any RT but in menus and in the pits and stuff you might be able to see RT effects.

I'd be amazed if Fifa doesn't get RT this year.

As long as they get DLSS + the AMD equivalent at the same time, I'm all for raytracing all the things.

Iracing is a complete different animal. Its not even comparable, especial in being considered DLC. Everything is 100% laser scanned and built with the true help of the races, teams, and sanctioning bodies. Its not a basic sim either. There are actual sponsored race series, and they win up to $50,000 in those. You buy what you want. Race what you want. I know, well because I race on Iracing.

It's not the only game with laser scanned tracks though, and quite a few other sims get help from race teams as well.

Since it's EA now, you can pboably buy that as DLC later on. It's gonna be milked like they milk The Sims.

Just chipping in to say that Codemasters was terrible even before the EA acquisition. Check DiRT 2.0.

As ever EA pushed prices up to 500% around the word again. Mostly 3 times up! That's mentally insane.

Codemaster have been a mini EA for years now in the way they churn out the same game year after year, so nothing much will change at this point, but good news for those 13 RTX card owners around the world who are actully using the cards for gaming. lol

I liked the F1 games when ISI made them - which was 1999 to about 2003. That's because it was an open, moddable game. ISI seems to have run itself off into the weeds since the days of Rfactor 1 which followed their F1 games although they supplied the engine for GTR1, GTR2, and GTL which were all pretty good. After RF1 their game was the debacle known as Rfactor 2. I was a beta tester of that game for about two weeks before I became so disgusted I bailed out.

i think the story earlier in the week confirmed that there are now 14 RTX owners worldwide that are using them for gaming, the 15th person is unconfirmed as apparently mining infrequently!!!
