Cool, I am taking back my words then. Guess I am just unlucky. Besides, After completing all steps, it gives me 4175 MHz clock on both CCX. but when i run Prime95 manually ( Smally FFT ) it instantly crashes. I then increased temp limit to 90c and run test again, then it crashed like after 2-3 seconds. So what could be wrong here? Should I use start over again with tool?
I do not know... But if 4175 crashes, maybe it is better to stay bellow 4175. Maybe have to tweak the LLC, Phase Control and Switching Frequency if the motherboard have these features.

Worth going through all this hassle if I already know I can do an all-core OC of 4450/4425MHz on my own?

I prefer going into bios and doing it on my own. This software overclocking is not my thing.

Worked like a charm for me on my 3900x. I ran the test default and it gave me 4475 4500 4425 4400 @ 1250v.(it took like 45 minutes) I then ran it reference freq 4375 and reference voltage 1325 and testing right now.

Could be; my 3800x at 4400/4400@1.35V can't even boot into Windows. And the temperature is lower than an all-core OC at same voltage 4350/4250.

hello all, is my ryzen 5 3600 not good? the program after starting the diagnostic tells me that it is a bronze sample ... have I been unlucky with the lottery? ***ClockTuner for Ryzen 1.0r by 1usmus*** AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor (870F10) Micro-Star International Co., Ltd B450 TOMAHAWK MAX (MS-7C02) BIOS ver. 3.72 SMU ver. 46.62.00 DRAM speed 3200 MHz 09/30/2020 21:02:44 AVX light mode Cycle time: 30000 ms Reference frequency: 4050MHz Reference voltage: 1225 mV Voltage step: 6 mV Manual overclocking mode enabled Sets overclocking parameters... This classification is from the Diagnostics which is not really reliable at the moment. If you try again or change some BIOS settings could easily become a Golden or Platinum sample :P

galax:

Can anyone help explain how I would use CTR to perform an undervolt? I am not interested in higher performance, but would love to see the same performance with lower power consumption. What settings would I adjust to achieve this?
If Diagnostics can run properly and you can finish the testing successfully is going to suggest you some settings for undervolting too. Should we keep posting results/issues on this thread? Just wondering if there's a public issue tracker or something similar.
You should, however, 1usmus is extremely busy at this time, but I am sure he'll read it.

So I ran this first V1 version lots of times, and got to a Silver chip, every time. Not changed from 3200/C14 yet. (3800X) 4.375MHz at 1.345V all core OC. Currently folding to see if stable. My Asus Mobo had to have LLC (Load Line calibration, CPU) to 'Higher', one under 'Extreme'. And the CPU Phases to 'Extreme' (All Phases in use' rather than the default, which doesn't seem to use all of them). I have an Asus TUF B450M-PRO Gaming mobo, with Watercooled VRM's, CPU and GPU, in that order.

Ouch Apparently my 3950x is silver sample. Considering this "Silver" sample 3950x got 169000mbps 7zip & 10356 on CB20 on hwbot Im not sure how you class the 3950x's. https://i.imgur.com/Yu5Mr0s.png

I suspect this isn't working quite right... Temps next to CCX1 and CC2 register, but C01 C02 etc just show zero. Just me?

Updated to Beta 2, Reference Frequency still >6000MHz after running diagnostic. Using a Ryzen 3 3100 on a Asrock B550M Steel Legend mobo. I assume the mobo is the issue. *Followed all steps, BIOS correct, confirmed running Beta 2, reread the guide 3 times over to ensure I didn't miss anything.

I upgraded to beta 2, and I cant even run diagnosis anymore. The fields are greyed out. It would at least run in the first beta

The only thing that seems relevant is all the cores have a value of '100' to the right of the clock speeds. Was getting different numbers there in previous beta. Other values are being populated via Ryzen Master seem OK.
I remember there is something specific in the guide when you the Core tags are nog defined correctly. So in this case, if you still have this problem, check the guide out from start to end again (like the error message said), somewhere in there this problem is mentioned.

HWINFO shows my average CPU core voltage at 1.427v. I stopped using the app because I think that's too much.

On my 3800x i looked at both the performance and power saving recommendations and the difference in voltage is significant. i went with the power saving which runs the CPU at 4200mhz but drops temps in many (CPU demanding) progs by 10C (on custom water) but i saw only a 1fps drop when i benched FC5 at 4k and max settings.

Max(IT):

Great. What about already applied profile ? How can update the beta 1 without losing my already applied profile (if possible) ?
I suggest keeping a drive with an OS backup on it for testing. ie backup your OS, restore to another drive, test what happens on that drive.
