Price? Input lag? Adaptive vsync?

Looks nice apart from the refresh rate. 🙂
Refresh rate isnt a deal breaker though. I rarely use vsync. Id love to get it and use it as my main monitor and two 25inch 1080p on the side for mixed eyefinity. But maybe a 21:9 2560x1080 would work better with 2 1920x1080 monitors?

This gets a thumbs up from me. Sub $500 IPS 27inch with this res is great.

No G-Sync? Really? Good luck maintaining 60FPS all the time on 2560x1440 with modern games...

60Hz... that sucks.
Well I don't think IPS is going to go 120hz anytime soon. According to ASUS you can't consistently hit 120hz on every produced panel, so they end up buying a bunch and only a fraction can hit 120 reliably and it drives the cost up tremendously. And even of the ones that can do 120, the actual refresh isn't guaranteed to be consistent across the entire screen. I'm actually surprised they haven't started doing 96hz ones though. I would imagine it's significantly easier to hit that and my OC'd Qnix is pretty smooth, comparably.

140 htz don't make you a better player....
It absolutely does

All I ask for is an IPS monitor that supports Gsync/FreeSync/Adaptive Sync. That would make me and a many other people very happy. Because not everyone can afford or want a high speed 'gaming' monitor. For the vast majority of people who don't have a bunch of monster cards under the hood, they don't have the power to drive near 120fps let alone 144fps, and probably don't want to spend a few hundred bucks more for a gaming grade monitor just to eliminate tearing for free. All that's left that visibly maws our beautiful IPS images, is the ugly screen tearing that costs performance to eliminate.
Well G-Sync is automatically adding $250 to the price of any monitor and while freesync doesn't require the expensive FPGA i can guarantee you that manufacturers are going to add a $ or two for that feature. Couple that with $400 for a decent IPS @ 1440p - 27" and you're already at $500-600. Most gamers and stuff I know think it's crazy spending over $300 on a monitor alone.

Okay I'm not here to boast, but those saying 60hz isn't for gaming..are completely wrong. Yeah sure 120-144hz would feel faster, but I'm at 60hz on my monitor and it's plenty smooth. 60fps is the sweetspot for me, and those same people boasting about their 1080p 144hz are only mid/low positions on the charts in BF4. I usually can finish anywhere in the top 10 just fine with the game maxed out at 1440p 4xMSAA at 60hz Vsync. It's more about skill than fps over 60.

Its quite obvious you've never seen 120hz 60hz is crap, moving windows around at the desktop hurts to look at.. 😛uke2:

When I played BF4 , I was almost always in the top 3 and I've never touched a sniper rifle. If you want a properly quantifiable test. My laptimes are much better in rFactor2 when running 144fps vs 60fps. if you have over twice the information going to your brain per second, if you can handle it, you will be better/faster etc.
