It is accurate yes, however it is averaging out load in like 1~2 second intervals, so sudden peaks could be filtered away a bit.

Its a nice feature but it came way too late for lots of people: We are living in the era of PSU shrouds.
For this very reason I chose Corsair HX1200i instead of this, I can see how much watt it uses and Much more all on my PC, i can even make it single rail or multi rail

Nice piece of hardware (as it's based on Seasonic), but the requirement of putting the fan upwards (to have OLED positioned correctly) is a mistake for most new chassis (with PSU shroud)

Very nice review, HH! I really liked the single 12v rail @ 100W...nice! The single 12v rail seems to have proven itself over time. Remember Power PC & Cooling? They hit the market with the first 12v multiple-rail PSU, IIRC, and their reasoning was such good marketing that I bought one--was very disappointed in it actually. Oh, it worked well enough...but the cables were too short--way short, had to use extensions! Seems some of their vaunted efficiency/stability at the time was because of the short-throw cables! Didn't buy another PPC&C PSU.
Agreed with all of your points. Good point about ErP mandate...I've got the option, but I have configured the system to shut completely down--I don't do sleep and when it's off I want it completely off. Seems this PSU is really meant for 100% silent PSU aficionados--hence the odd position of the fan--fan probably not meant to run very much if at all. 10-year warranty on the guts is also nice! Have to second the 850W recommendation, too! Not my cup of tea!
