Yeesh. I just picked up a used Herman Miller Aeron this year for $299. Mild scuffing on the back of the chair but it feels like new. After seeing the price of this gaming chair I feel like I stole mine. On a side note, anyone with back pains and spends a lot of time in an office chair look into investing into a reasonably priced chair with reviews specifically about alleviating back pain. It immediately improved my back and posture at my desk.

Same. Great laptop. However chairs, ergonomics and general comfort for long sitting periods is already well defined and evolving less rapidly than laptops. I ended up going Ikea for my last office chairs because the more comfortable chair I found was 4 figures in cost, which was not worth it. I spent the difference on a standing desk (definitely healthier to use)

These new "ergonomic" chairs cause me severe back pain after sitting for 2-3 hours. They also don't seem to last nearly as long as older office chairs. With these newer "ergonomic" chairs, if I sit in them for more than 2-3 hours, I need help getting up. They also have half as much or less cushioning than flattens out at a much faster rate.

Interesting. I am having the exact opposite experience! Agree about the cushion, but that is an easy fix
