And again only one 2.5GbE port... useful

Not that this router is targeting small business or bigger ones. For home routers, this is a behemoth comparing with ones offered by the ISPs. Adoption of anything beyond 1GB in houses is slow.

Own this puppy. Direct comparison to the AC86U at home. Not much changed. The 2.5GbE port was what I did it for so I could hang a harddrive on the USB 3.2 and raise throughput a bit but this only went up from 115MB/s to 140MB/s. It would need Merlin software and SAMBA V2 to further unlock the throughput. But he hasn't confirmed support yet. Wifi AX is only interesting if you have a TON of clients. AC actually has more range and seems to be a bit more stable for me now on my clients. This router has real potential! but compared to the Merlin loaded AC86U it is not worth upgrading unless Merlin will support it in the future.

Be fine if it supports link aggregate

It does. But it won't magically increase your bandwidth to the 2.5GbE port.. it will only increase bandwidth if multiple clients are asking bandwidth from it. Like you hang a NAS on 2 gigabit ports and connect your computer to the 2.5GbE port. You won't magically get 2 gigabit bandwidth from nas to PC. But you can max out 1gigabit with the PC and as long as your NAS drives support the speed you can ask for more bandwidth with another client. I tested it in depth in all configurations. Sad but true. Link aggregation is overrated for home usage mostly. And this router is aimed at home usage. Not at large businesses.
