Time to replace the wife's OG iPad with an air2.
Comment does not contain a bend joke.

Zzzzzzzzz honestly.. I'm getting so bored of Apple devices. They all look and work the same and these "new" releases bring so little real innovation to the table. Boring as F

I think I will get an Air 2.

What, there's nothing different with the mini 3? Some stupid finger print reader and that's it?

Pre-ordered my 128 GB white/silver iPad Air 2 yesterday afternoon along with a white Smart Cover for delivery next Wednesday to Friday. This is a replacement for my 64 GB iPad 4, which has to be the most used and well loved pieces of hardware I have ever bought. I have used it for at least 2-3 hours per day since I bought it in December 2012. I also have an 128 GB iPad mini 2 as well for using outside of the home, as it was more portable than the iPad 4, and it is nice knowing that the iPad mini 3 is pretty much the same model. I will likely upgrade the mini 2 next year so I am upgrading my iPads on a two-yearly cycle. Absolutely love the iPad...it is arguably the best tablet you can buy by virtue of running iOS. Android is fine, I have it on my HTC One M8 phone, but I find it a bit more buggy than iOS, plus apps are not as well optimised for 1080p and fewer in number.

Yes plus a white/gold colour scheme, which I personally think looks a bit tacky. Still it is good news for anyone like myself who bought a mini 2 last year as it means there is no incentive to upgrade. 🙂

I mean, make smaller, make faster, make better battery life... what more do you want at this point. Welcome to computers.
Did they not completely change the look of the IPhone 6? Why does the IPhone 6 and 6 plus get a makeover, which I find look way better than the 4 and 5, and yet these new tablets only get a bit of a shrink? Why? Also, how about making a newer device more affordable? If they aren't going to make any real noteworthy innovations to their hardware or software, regardless of the reasons why not incentivize by providing a bit more of a deal priicewise on them? Oh thats right.. because the sheeple of the world happily throw all their money at apple regardless of the product. My mistake.

Ummm....how would running a mobile OS make the iPad the best tablet you can buy? I can run nearly every piece of software that's installed on my desktop, on my Windows (non-RT) tablet. Only things my tablet is missing, is a keyboard/mouse/docking solution. Plus, my Windows tablet was half the price of an iPad. I love the advertisement on the Apple website:
Don’t let its size fool you. iPad mini 3 is powered by an A7 chip with 64-bit desktop-class architecture.
RISC architecture is not "desktop class"....seeing as no desktop computer uses it. Sounds like false advertising to me.....

Well the iPad is, in my opinion, the best tablet you can buy, period, in terms of speed, looks and usability; iOS just makes the whole experience more enjoyable. I personally would not want to run Windows on a tablet as I like that my phone and iPad use different operating systems. Besides, I find Windows 8/8.1's Start Screen to be ugly and garish (which is why I avoid it on PC) and while it might be nice to have better compatibility between a tablet and a desktop PC, in reality I have not had any issues with any of the stuff I'm running on Android or iOS...Facebook, email, browsers, YouTube, Dropbox, OneDrive...all work very well on tablets and phones, with the minor inconvenience of using an onscreen keyboard. I do not really play games on tablet, I use mine mostly for watching videos on, browsing, email and reading magazines and I prefer to do all those things on a tablet more than I do a PC to be honest as I'm not tied down to one place.

Well the 32 GB iPad mini 2 is now £279 here in the UK and this year's 128 GB iPad mini 3 is £479, over £80 cheaper than last year's model which I paid £568.70 for directly from Apple. The 128 GB Air 2 is actually the same price as what I paid for last year's 128 GB mini 2 in fact. They are certainly not cheap but in my experience they are worth every penny as the build quality is superb. As for the design, Apple seem to redesign their products every two generations so I expect that next year's iPad Air and iPad mini will have revamped looks. Would be nice if they placed the stereo speakers on the front for example and also added expandable storage. By the way, I'm not someone who drools every time Apple release a new product. In fact, it wasn't until I bought my first tablet, an iPad 4 in late 2012, that I had even bought an Apple product as I always believed their stuff to be overpriced and not necessarily better than the competition. I still believe that of their iPhones which until this year's 6 Plus model lagged behind the competition is terms of screen resolution (the iPhone 6 still is even 720p nevermind 1080p which is deeply underwhelming IMO) but their tablets are top-notch in my experience.

ok, so a few of them don't have a roof.
Eh? For the 911 sure, though throught time the 911 has changed too, but your post still confuses me as the link i provided had many different designs of cars, not just the 911. But for the sake of the 911 as that seems to be the only car you saw there... http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porsche_911#/image/File:Classic911.jpg http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porsche_911#/image/File:Porsche_911SC_Slantnose_1982_1.jpg http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porsche_911#/image/File:Porsche_911_Carrera_S_(7522427256).jpg http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porsche_911#/image/File:Porsche_911_GT1_street_version_1997_frontleft_2010-03-12_A.jpg All are 911s
