At the AMD gaming festival where these new products have/ are being prompted. AMD are giving away some of these new products to the audience. Which is going down well with them and met with lots of loud cheer.

7700xt looks nice.
But it will look even nicer with -$50 price decrease. In two months, maybe?
I think the comment section will be good. **grabs popcorn**

7700xt seems like its eating 4060ti for breakfast and costs less. 399$ would be better we all know amd prices usually go down very short after.
Same goes for the 7800xt. 499$ isnt bad but not good either. Lets wait for some benchmarks.
Fsr3 was best part of the show. A good start some hype is there especially working on all dx11/12 games.

Stands by for every 7700x/7800x/FSR3 thread to drown in AMD Vs NV hardware/software childish and unfounded mudslinging b0ll0x.

7800xt is looking good , need a little bit of price reduction.

When will FSR3 be available for existing games?
Very curious to see how it works.

despite the tactical delay in the launch, this is well timed and well priced.
it's well timed because we've had time for the Nvidia mid and upper mid-range cards to be out in the wild and have shown to be very underwhelming and over-priced.
these are well priced because even at MSRP they represent a quantative value and qualitative improvement over the competitive cards.
but it gets even better as most have pointed out AMD doesn't stand firm on MSRP.
in addition, as AMD has sat on the launch for quite awhile, the availability will be high even in Europe.
imho, they should've led with this and launched earlier, RDNA 2 stock be damned.
$500 is a financial/psychological barrier especially for the 1440p market. this can be seen with the extremely lackluster sales of 4060 - 4070ti all of which are grossly overpriced especially the 4070ti and 4070. the 7800xt can waltz right in and start eating the 4070 for lunch

I don't really know how to feel about these

This price pretty much confirms it's not faster than 6800XT, otherwise they would definitely ask $600 for it.
At this price, it's basically the successor to 6800 non XT, but with an XT name. Lame.

Needs a little bit of price reduction.. can't see it as a 6800xt upgrade (otherwise, why call it 7800xt?).

Interesting approach with leaning on async compute to handle its version of frame generation.
The only hold back is if games end up using much more of it, leading to less available for fsr3.
Good news all around, can't wait to see it in actual hands on experience to see how it all plays out.
Surprised they picked Forspoken over Starfield to showcase. Starfield wasn't even on the list. Is this part of the roadblock with async compute? The gain was so small perhaps?

board power is 263w, yet the ref clocks are low, curious choice, maybe to prevent canabalism of the rx 7900 gre?

@wavetrex
The navi 31 yields were good so most of the chips were used for the 7900XTX, they would have had to waste good chips to make a n31 7800XT
They should have called this card the 7800 as it's a replacement for the 6800
Maybe miscommunication between some of the teams and sub vendors?

Those very precise game/boost clocks suggest to me that these cards are clocked to the max to get the best performance out of them. :/
