New cooler looks quite good on my phone. Can't wait for the numbers to come in. The next few months could be quite expensive.

I know AMD is going to delivery good performance but we need to look at the RTRT performance because that is where they are weakest.

Or everyone could just look at the performance that actually matters to them. For some of us, RT matters. For some of us, rasterization matters. For some of us, power draw for the performance matters.... If I can get 6800XT performance with power draw similar to a 6600.... I'll take 2...

It would be exceedingly strange if AMD did nothing to boost the lacking RT performance. In every review the audience could witness how woefully behind RDNA2 was in RT, compared to Ampere, so that grievous situation couldn't have escaped AMD's own notice, either.

The performance is going to be very good, if the game works 😛

Radeon raytracing is lacking in comparation with Nvidia(for now, maybe), but the games that really use RT are still really few(i mean in the levels of Metro Exodus Enhanced) that wont change for some time, maybe 4 or more years, most games realeased for PC and consoles are made compatible with last gen consoles in mind, i assume the same will happen with the next gen of consoles(PS6, next box), that's when games will start using RT as it was intended. When those consoles come out, probably around 2027 we will have way better GPUs

If they showed something more people would get more excited. Apparently its still a secret. 😀

Yeah, the video card part of the presentation was really bad, they show a game in production, with no framerates or comparation with current cards

Hopefully this time AMD can produce GPUs in sufficient quantity.

With mining taking a dump, I don't think supply is going to be an issue this time around. Especially with the rumors that both AMD and Nvidia have bought and paid for quite a lot of TSMC 5nm chips.

And here I was telling myself I dont need a 7800xt as my 6800xt still kicks ass.

Are we expecting 7800xt to be a 649$ or we just being naive?

Zen4 kept similar prices to Zen3. So maybe AMD will do the same for RDNA3.
