I would also like to parrot, the beard is glorious, the accent is fine and the video was great. Thank you for doing it. Looking forward to the testing results from my favorite tech site. P.S. Whenever I picture you, you are always wearing a lab coat. ๐Ÿ™‚

It's awesome that you did the video because of a forumite asking you nicely for it! The video was great and I'm sure you'll get more comfortable doing them if you do them more frequently...but personally I feel you should only do videos for major releases like Ryzen...then maybe Vega...etc. Looking forward to the review!!

good unboxing vid boss. nice & simple, very professional...exactly wat i expected from guru3d are you kidding? there was an 1800X, a crosshair, & an EK AIO in that box! my hands would be shaking too!! ahhhhhhhhhhh ๐Ÿ˜€
When you have unboxed as much hardware as Hilbert has to date, then that would definitely not be the reason why your hands would shake.

Thank you Hilbert for giving us this unboxing video.Felt like Christmas! As many said, you did a terrific job at it, there so few high quality video about technology and hardware outhere and you are a natural. No fluff, just to the point and your english was a pleasure to hear, the accent just adds "that something". I completly understand that you wanted to deliver the best for us, as you always do.I salute you sir for adding your gentleman looks to the mix. It adds even more credibility to your work. Now, i just wonder. Why AMD sent a smeared, already used Ryzen? One can suspect cherry picked SKU and maybe a slight better margin to produce the best results while testing it? Hope i didn't break anyone's hype, this is what i saw and until now nobody asked. And before anyone starts anything... i like both brands, AMD Intel Nvidia Radeon, whatever company offer the best bang for the buck ratio.

Every HW company does this for 2 reasons: 1st - to be sure the hardware is working otherwise some reviewers would have to ask another cpu losing precious time to release the review at the same time as others. 2nd - yes, you guessed, companies usually send cherry picked parts that show their product in the best light possible. Before someone freaks out, EVERY company does this! Specially to avoid sending a crap product that itยดs going to reviewed to millions... The only way to avoid this practise would be reviewers buying the parts themselfes. Of course this doesnยดt happen for obvious reasons. So in the end, business as usual.

Question for all. Was gonna make a new thread for this, but instead just thought I would use one of the many Ryzen threads already available lol. Has there been any ITX boards announced? Sure enough there is low enough power draw and heat to warrant at least one board partner to venture into that realm...If there hasn't been, I assume they will come once the APU's are released?

ITX boards with its special x300 chipset will come later. At moment I am more concerned about initial x370 mobos because it seems in Europe that they will be delayed. Just got confirmed availability for pickup for 1800x but my Asus Crosshair VI Hero changed status to unknown and I could see similar status in various other shops in different countries. 1 Shop in Germany says after 20.3 which i hope is not true. Asrock boards have delivery date 17.3 and Gigabyte only listed for preorder. If there will be such huge delay before CPU and mobos release I am gonna be... :bang:
