4 gigs of single rank b-die.. the perfect condition, yay! Now we can all do 4000mhz on our
dual rank hynix memory.

latencies are horrible...

The rig he used was based on a GIGABYTE AORUS AX370-Gaming K7 motherboard (F4 BIOS) using a single 8GB stick of G.SKILL Trident Z E-die memory (F4-3600C17-4GTZ) using 18-20-20-58-93-1 timings
Care to rewrite that bit.... he used a single 4GB DIMM half of an 8GB kit you can't just turn off half an 8GB DIMM it's an 8GB kit (2x4GB dimms)

Looks good! In next couple of months planning to switch to Ryzen 1800x, however only thing that stops me atm is Ryzen 1700x Pro, want to see if those will be better higher quality binned (as advertised) and will actually clock better / clock better at lower voltages.
Other then that, it seems that 1800x @4.1 should not bottleneck 1080Ti @ 3440x1440.

But can it run Crysis?

Is there a sweet spot for memory with the Ryzen cpu? What I mean is there a Mhz and timing that offers the best performance before the timings get out of control?
