You can't compare orange with Apple lol I was anti-mac until i tried the mini M1... then i get one... It's an astonishing little thing. And now i wish to get a mac studio M2 (the big one in small size). Anyway this mobile AMD CPU seem to be very good

this is a beast and if it had 4080m i'd start getting my ducks in a row. but i'm really waiting for the 7945HX, which makes any other mobile processor weep. at least any with end user upgradability. the 7945HX will be tricked out with better gpus as well, as the 4070m is just weak sauce, given that the igpu can do over 100fps @ 1080p at high or ultra settings.

Plus wouldn't restricting the 4070 to 140w just make it a lesser GPU anyway. There's no way a 200w GPU will run the same with just 140w.

Yes, but generates less heat so more usable in a laptop. Last thing you want is throtting due to overheating and becoming too hot to touch

Would have liked to see some actual gaming results under the Gaming section; 3DMark just isn't relevant nowadays outside of e-peen waving. Otherwise looks very good and nice review

That iGPU 3Dmark score - synthetic as it is - is looking quite promising for whatever will be the "Ryzen 5 7600G".

Looking to buy a new 17po gaming laptop to run MSFS + X4, both games that are running the CPU at 100% non stop on all cores Wich model should I take that will not be throttled by temps/power?

It seems weird Razer would choose the 7940HS over the 7745HX. I don't think the the beefier iGPU is needed if they're just pairing it with a dGPU, and the CPU performance should be slightly better in the 7745HX.

Yeah but, not but. With apple DX 12 game compatibility thing. I would say apple mac want you to start and compare oranges with apples. 🙂 I do like how invocative apple have become recently and who knows they may become close to being a consumer friendly business. 😳

It's just a bait for Windows user 🙂 , a bit like linux things in Windows OS for tux user. Believe me as i have been catched this way (lol), the main thing is elsewhere on Apple... But in a way you are right 🙂 (and now i have a 4th OS in house since lol)
