If you can instantly sell everything you can make then you'd better have a good quarterly report. Doesn't mean that it could have been much better if they could have made more.

Well, since Intel makes their server CPUs, whatever sales AMD doesn't make may end up going to Intel instead, just simply because of availability. If everything were manufactured by TSMC then yeah, it wouldn't matter because everyone using them isn't getting enough. Remember too that Intel is also contracting TSMC, so Intel is definitely producing more product.

Demand has been so high that they can't keep up but volumes have been up since 2020. You see it ever quarter since the 4th quarter of 2020.

Most likely if they could've produce enough to match the supply they would have had insane quarter. Instead of really great one.
