Hi there, sorry for offtopic, there is also a new 22.6.1 for Windows 10. But why not a WDDM 3 driver (Windows 11) for the Legacy Cards like R9 290 now. I don't think the R9 290/390 cannot handle WDDM 3? Greetings from Germany

So, we're almost through the month with no W10/11 AMD driver, Then a Windows 7 driver drops. Whew. I just don't know.

Great move from AMD imho. Support for old GPUs is always nice. And win7 isn't obsolete for millions of PCs worldwide. So, where is the bad in this release? They released a win10 22.6.1 driver after all.

I like my computer to be fast and stable. Windows 7/8 are the best when it comes to this. I've tried many releases of 10 all the way from beta to 21H2. Some of them are better than others, but overall 7/8 is just better.

Bare as in non updated? You updates for Windows 7 if you want to install new drivers, because of lack of SHA-2 code signing support on base SP1. I use it to update machines on regular basis. Machines that NEED Windows 7 to work. Not by my choise, but because of some specialty medical software.
