Took a look at the minimal installation option, since I don't stream/record or use the overlay regularly. Looks good but theres no overclocking features so I'll stick with the full install.

Why they didnt include overclocking with the minimal install? You"ll have to install all their crap you dont need if you want wattman, thanks amd.

Does it have Hardware accelerated GPU scheduling? Is this driver version newer than UWP - v27.20.21001.7005 ?

Maybe try reading the full release notes, Package Contents The Radeon Software Adrenalin 21.4.1 installation package contains the following: Radeon Software Adrenalin 21.4.1 Driver Version 21.10.02 for Windows 10 and 21.09.02 for Windows 7 (Windows Driver Store Version 27.20.21002.112)

Minimal also doesn't include profiles per game/app, only global options.

Is that not minimal though? They should have a middle option. Or even better, a set of selections to add with check boxes.

Won't argue with that, just mentioning it for the curious. I guess the "minimal" most users desire would be having no relive, metrics, link, overlay, browser while keeping wattman and profiles. That would be a decent middle ground to reduce bloat while keeping "classic" functionalities. On the full install, there's now a new option to disable the web browser.

PCI driver stack acted up a bit after this but it's fine after another reboot, keeping Wattman while having a light Radeon Settings install would be a nice addition too. 🙂

Agreed! With a little bit of common sense and asking around they could have come to the conclusion that tinkerers and minimalists want Wattman to be included.

Finally they have fixed video recording with 5.1 configured Windows audio system. No need to use "Separate microphone track" as a workaround.

This version includes a component called "AMD DVR64", which can be removed using a utility such as Radeon Software Slimmer. When you do this, streaming, overlay and related services are disabled. Radeon Software interface adjusts for this and the Host Services should no longer be running in the background. It's one small step in a minimal install. Also, there are big improvements to running multiple games/apps/videos in borderless full screen mode and using FreeSync. It should work really great now, except for the Netflix app as it's controls overlay is doing something silly.

Two separate drivers for some reason, no idea why the C* .inf file is gone but now there's only the Windows DCH mode and these U* .inf files and for some reason two of them. April 16th versus April 19th going by the contents here, 21.09.02 and 21.10.02 for the driver versions. 2104161407-21.09.02-210415a-366400E-RadeonSoftware U0366400 2104191652-21.10.02-210413a-366490C-RadeonSoftware U0366490 EDIT: Comparing them shows quite a difference in the number of supported GPU device ID's as well.
