I'm still waiting on the next 9700 Pro. I will buy that card just to frame it, and then put 3 in my PC 😀. This card looks nice though, too, but it's no 9700 Pro.

I can send you 2 9700Pro Maya edition if you want and 2x 9800XT.. but its collector.. Incredible memory size of 256bit bus for 128GB ... mmm sorry MB..lol Even the box was a pure collector:
Do you have the ASUS 9800 XT Limited Edition with the suitcase? 🤓

Nothing I'm too impressed with. I'm doing way better with an OC'd GTX 980. Then the arguments will come along that "well if you OC the 390X then...." But still even then AMD isn't known for huge OC's without a ton more heat compared to Nvidia. So in the end, we don't know how it will OC.

My 7950 OC'd from 840mhz stock to 1100mhz with only a 5C increase in temp using the reference cooler.. Only increased temp 10C pushing it to 1200mhz on the reference cooler.... I get BSoD's wih my 660's with reference coolers at stock clocks if I don't use a custom fan curve....

Lol because I have an accurate opinion I'm a troll, huge lol. There is no such thing as a troll in my book, its a stupid pathetic modern day meaning by the internet geeks of today. You obviously did not game on the 8/16 bit machines from 1980s cause in those days there was no such thing and there still isn't by my standards. Brainless the youth are today.
I think they were called gorillas back then

"One more thing, the name “Radeon R9 390X” isn’t actually confirmed for the card being shown in the chart, its speculated based on the fact that it is the fastest shown graphics card in the chart and hence leads to the conclusion that this could be the upcoming “flagship” card from AMD to rival NVIDIA’s GM 204 chip architecture." The weird thing is that the original leaker just posted those charts and then he just vanished. To me it sounds more like a damage control from AMD,I mean the GTX 9xx series is selling that good that they need to pull something like those charts...just my 2 cents on this.We still need to remeber that the next card from AMD will come on something like february and that is months away.
Oh the damage control is done with the 295X2 on sale for $679 at the egg.

And that didn`t do anything to slow down the GTX 9xx series...
No, it won't with 65% of the market share in NVIDIA's favor.

I don't want to feed the trolls, but just to mention what I was wondering the last two days, nobody seems to want to mention that AMD beats the GM204 performance.... against the mid class chip. That's why I personally expect the Titan2 or whatever it's called to beat it, just because on paper it's supposed to be 40 to 50% faster than the 980. And then, once again faster than the 390X on the charts posted, but only by a little bit. The most interesting thing about the next AMD card won't be power consumption, or raw performance, and not even heat or noise (which are quite important to me personally), but at what price it'll be released. That's the true battleground, because what's the best chip's use if it's incredibly expensive (yeah I'm talking to you NV!)

Nice numbers. Hope its all true. Hope 2x would be great for 4K gaming.

Wow so much cores and 10 fps faster, this must be a lie cause the specs. I think it will be much faster.

When i look at the past and see this 64 MB or 128 MB card ( but the bus was allready 256bit )... lol... now we are at 4'000 MB or even for the top of the dog W9100 16'000 MB.
Them were the days, when 128mb of memory was a huge amount 😀

Like gaming on those things have anything to do with this and there was no internet you couldn't possibly stir up anything on forums nor does the fact you were born some 11 years earlier and played more on 8/16bit things. But your post seems like a flamebait none the less. And that would be called trolling so a troll post. Accurate opinion there is nothing accurate about that. It is an opinion for sure and posting it on AMD topic is flamebaiting.

:D you are a funny guy. But nope considering the tech it won't eat less power then 980 unless it is 20nm since the difference between these leaked rumors would put 380x 20watts from 980 with 16% performance increase. So yea I think that part nope. Else it could very well be faster.

You want some flamebait I will give you some. "The Titan II will piss all over the R390x and while its doing it will use less power and run much cooler" Hows that? Or do you want me to add more to it? Its my opinion and a very good one considering the technology that Nvidia has atm. If you don't like the thread then GTFO and go cry to your Mother or something.
What a ridiculous statement. I expected more from you, Veteran. Trolling in every thread you post lately. Would like to jump on this flamewar but some of us been warned already. Ah, shame.

Dude,that card on chart is a 390X not a 380X. It is the flagship of AMD,the 390X.
Yes and in the original post on chiphell it is 380x supposedly. But that is beside the point anyways. If Titan 2 uses less then this card then it would be really amazing card way better then 980.
https://forums.guru3d.com/data/avatars/m/164/164033.jpg
The guy that said the card is a 380X is Sernox,a guy that built conclusions taking speculations as confirmed news.Even the ppl on Chiphell are speculating whether it's a 390X or 380X.
Yes supposedly as in not certain it could be either. 🙂 But oh well. In 6 months we will be wiser about the coming GPU's anyways.
