wow nvidia killer right there. Really angry card and for that price someone will be retarded to get a titan or a gtx690 instead.

Woohoo! AMD is back on top πŸ˜€. That thing is DESTROYING the 690 and Titan in 90% of the tests, even with beta drivers. Nice to see testing being mainly shown at 2560 x 1600 as well now πŸ˜€ With all those free games, it's a no brainer.

I've got 7970s running at 1050 so I guess I was just wanting more clocks at stock from this. They seem to have oc'ed it to only 1100 also, was that the artifact limit because it seems low compared to a lot of 925 original cards oc limits. I guess I wanted to swap my 7970s for one of these with the hope of picking up another for under Β£600 a few months down the line but the reality is I can get better performance out of my cards and might as well pick up a third 7970 at some point if a specific game deserves it.

Yeah seems that way, remember though the 690 is 1 year old in May 2013, as for the Titan, well you know what i think about that card considering it was only released 2-3 months ago..meh.
True. Titan is overpriced for what it is, and should've been the 680, not the 680 we have.
gtx 690 is dual gpu and it loses to hd 7990 in most tests. Titan just gets destroyed, of course.
Ofc. If pricing can be competitive, hopefully AMD will be on to a winner here.

Great card, the new king of the hill! Personally i would prefer buying two 7970 or two 680 but thatΒ΄s me. For those who want to laugh a little, know that the 690 and the 7990 cost around 950€ here in Portugal...

Nothing wrong with the price, if Nvidia can get that much for the 690, then why shouldn't AMD get around the same for their 7990.

U should read other reviews also;if u prefer high latency and micro-stuttering,then Radeon 7990 is u card. Many of us prefer smooth gameplay.

Maybe those that used fraps as ms tool, which isnt a real stutter indicator. πŸ˜€

Ask W1zzard @ Techpowerup When compared to NV offering, he suggests $800-850 for 7990 as a more reasonable price (+10 or so games :P) http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/AMD/HD_7990/31.html Paper launching card (with paper driver LOL) which only accentuates opponent's advantages, and at this late stage is a weird move imho. But hey it's their money; I guess AMD knows what they're doing.

It really is a shame that such great hardware specs can be bottlenecked by drivers.
They'll get better.
