I just might be able to afford a HD 7850 now. Honestly I havent seen a worthy card to upgrade too that wasnt over $200+ at the minimum since I have bought this card. I paid $160 for it 2 years ago. Hell I didnt get an upgrade over my 4870 performance wise but I did go from 512 to 1gb vram and alot better power consumption plus dx11.

Is a 7850 a worthy upgrade from a GTX460 768mb @1080i I dont put alot of AA on anyways. Even thou the GTX460 plays every game good I feel I need to upgrade 🙂
If you feel GTX460 is fine dont upgrade. Wait for even more price drops, maybe even GTX660 ti? 😉

As a consumer, I love price drops, see no reason to hate them lol. deltatux
Only reason to hate them, is if you bought them early....and are now trying to get rid of them for some reason...

HD7950 won't drop to $189.....that would make HD7700 series worthless..and would run off a lot of their customers like me that buy cards with the intention of selling them later as HD7950 dropping to $189 would put the HD7870 at around $125-$150......roughly 1/3 it's original selling price...
