This is a known problem with WINDOWS 10 and not the drivers.

No. It's a conflict between the drivers and windows 10. not just a win 10 issues, as previous catalyst version works fine and 18.5.1 too (in my case). (Note: i used DDU as requested by LocoDiceGR)

18.4.1 was the first driver to use WDDM 2.4 (WDDM 2.4 was introduced in the April update) so.... nope. This driver made the bug only obvious. Maybe AMD has fixed what MS has broken in 18.5.1, who knows. But it was definitely related to April update / broken W10.

You need precise in what moment you have those FPS. If it's Crysis 3 Root of Evil on Ultra, it's normal. If it's Crysis 3 Welcome to the Jungle, it's your CPU. If it's GTA V in desert it's normal. If it's GTA V in city, it's your CPU. About GTA V. Here is many graphics options which wasted performance in my opinion. https://www.geforce.com/whats-new/guides/grand-theft-auto-v-pc-graphics-and-performance-guide Look at this comparisons. I think some things you can set lower easily. Reflects for example. About 50fps lock. Check refresh rate and Vsync option. I had some problems with it when i used to use old LCD Toshiba TV as monitor.

Drivers are working perfectly for me, although I am not on Windows 10.

Installed these,random green dots while playing Black Desert ,and with youtube open on Chrome. Windows 10 1803 Ryzen 1700 stock,RX 580 XFX 16 g ram. Reverting to 18.4.1 solves the problem.

Q2 2018 have some problems with Forza H3 & M7 Upgraded to 18.5.1 WHQL everything is fine, good driver so far. I will update some Game info soon.

I can confirm that 🙂 BTW doesn't anyone have issue in mozilla, that it sometimes "flash" to black? I have this for pretty long time and I didn't noticed it in any other program (I didn't test in chrome, because it happen very occasionally)

Still, not a good user experience. But as long as it doesn't crash the card, it's just cosmetic. It can only be problematic on page showing temporary info that you can't scroll or refresh (due to resubmit). Before I've found more users with this small chrome issue, my first thought was that there was also a problem with voltages on lower power states on high ASIC cards (the lowest P0, P1 and P2 voltages are set equal, instead of a tad lower than a "regular" gpu, as it starts to happen following P3), hence trying other official vbios. We on RX480/RX580 don't really like to see green stuff popping. The last year there was a problem with drivers that persisted for more than half of the year were after or during playing video, other kind of green squares pattern appeared usually followed by a TDR. The culprit was the OC engine of the drivers (when there was any OC enabled, even if by 1Mhz) overvolting the card while playing video by .100V forcing the common ~1,150V default on videocards with rarer high ASIC Q such as mine that operate under 1,030V on stock load, and will crash when voltage is set as high. The problem was even worse if you had a manual offset voltage applied, because this bump it would be applied on top of it. Having drivers that couldn't properly deal with all ASIC levels wasn't something I'd expect from AMD in 2017.

Crysis 3 ? Have u tried it ? even in GPU Intensive Area frame stays from 50 to 60 then it goes directly to 110FPS then it goes down immediately to 50 it feels like the card heats but temps are good u gotta try it. PS: All my games are working great.

I don't have Crysis 3 installed, but I reinstalled the driver using DDU and the problem seems to be gone. 100% usage and much higher fps.
