Cool. Very good sign. At least the commercial was not garbage like so many of AMD's commercials in the past. The do need to come up with a slogan as catch as Intel inside.

Atleast they had have AMD logos on F1 Ferraries for few years... But that´s just sponsorship, right? 😛
Edit: AMD is sponsor this year, but last time they were was 2011-2013

From what I remember, AMD products were advertised within the past year, during the Super Bowl in the US. I don't think the ad itself was about AMD, but I remember it drawing a lot of attention toward "Ryzen" and "Radeon".

I believe I was ten or so when this aired. I liked it then, and still do. Can't be sure, but I think it was briefly shown during college athletic events on Saturdays.

I remember seeing this live on Sky Sports F1, I shouted (well, spoke loudly) at the TV "Do you seriously not know who that is???"

I remember being a little kid and remembering 3DFX commercials. Best one was when they said, " We could use it for medical use, something something then they said NAH! Let's use it for gaming!" I laughed my a$$ off.

Maybe they'll sell video cards in a few years or something.

"That advertisement will be used on television as commercial as well"
what a colossal waste of money.

Thank god I dont watch tv, and, for the record, I hate commercials....I also tell ppl that have the sticker "intel inside" on their comps to use it as an anchor.

the ad is polished, short and gets to the point.
now, a LOT of people watch TV and believe it or not, many people are still under the mantra "as seen on TV". If something goes live on TV, it's there and it's known.
if AMD has the money to "burn" in a TV ad in the internet era, shows that they are doing rather well.
