That does look nice. And good to know that AMD nailed it with their drivers for this mixed resolution thing now. 🙂 Great review.

I may just be trying this in a few months, assuming it works with 7970s 😀

The new 14.6 drivers are awesome for me. I literally just got eyefinity when the 14.6 dropped. Im running a 25inch Hanns G 1080p for my center monitor, and two dell 17inch 128x1024. Its not idea and its 16:9 and 4:3 monitors, but it works and its awesome. I have not been able to use them rotatated as I originally hoped. Bu its ok. So worth it. Currently using 4484x1018 as my resolution. Assassins Creed Black Flag, Bad Company 2 and Grid 2 are giving me major issues. All Unreal 3 based games still have the horrible fov issues. But it still is friggin awesome. Im still learing how to setup the monitor properly. Its awesome to see my #1 HD 7850 drive 4 monitors. http://i.imgur.com/FrFS4S6l.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/x9yP81tl.jpg

I'm really happy for this since it should lead to many more people trying out Eyefinity as long as they have a spare monitor lying around (or borrow the wife's for a few days 😀).

Man, I haven't seen a trackball mouse since the late 90s.
I love em ! These are the Microsoft Trackbal Explorer ones that you see in the photos. I so wish they would still make them.

I have 3 Dell 24" monitors and can use them in Eyefinity mode on the 7990 but I do notice it is NOT as smooth in terms of framerates as just using the center 1920x1200 on its own so I don't use it any more for BF4. What I would like from AMD is an option to run the two outside monitors at a DECREASED resolution from the center one so they are not as taxing on the GPUs and the overall framerate of center remains as high as running on its own. The thing is the side ones usually don't need the full resolution because they normally just show a weird "skewed" side view perspective of the gameport which you don't normally look straight at. So an Eyefinity mode where center runs at 1920x1200 and the two side run at 1920x600 or 960x600 each (but stretched to fill monitors obviously).

Seen someone in another forum getting it to work with a 4k center monitor and 2 x 2560x1440 on the sides. I believe this with quad 290x.
