again, its been a while but remember that matisse was already better than a i9900k at least on Cinebench 8 vs 8 cores. Remember that we are talking about a Ryzen 5 type of CPU vs a i9900k so...

And you know that how??? AMD did the test not for performance but for power consumption which was indeed impressive thanks to 7nm: AMD system drew just 133W compared to 180W for the equivalent Intel system - that was the whole point of the much famed benchmark... Nobody knows what speed/type the AMD CPU was running - the whole point was power draw on similar number of cores and the same benchmark. Now Epyc will be...epic with that amount of cache and cores but again no price....
