I wonder what these are actually bringing to the table. PCI Gen 5 already existed on 600 series, so was USB 4 "optional", but all the high-end boards implemented it. Even on AMD's own comparison table, they look identical until the USB4 STANDARD: https://www.amd.com/en/products/processors/chipsets/am5.html

Has anyone here seen any USB4 device so far ? I don't even know what devices exist and have USB4... probably just some very expensive external SSD.

If you already own a B650E or X870(E) you gain nearly none... it's a bit like previous B series in AM4.

guessing the only real change will be supporting higher memory speeds.
