Got the error message too, apparently it's something to do with DDU I think Wagnard was saying, the installer is looking for a registry entry that is not there or vice versa, something like that, sure he'll come and correct me lol

Could be, as i do use that, but version 12 still, although saying that, i used it before installing the the 14.41 RC1s, and then never gave the 'there were errors'. Also, remember when selecting the video options in the CCC, the background used to go black, well its back for me with these 😀, but slightly different, it now goes black, when i go to another menu option, after going into the video ones. :P Re-ran the LL bench again, and the minimum was back up, was 16 odd.

Any word on the performance of mantle in bf4? Every driver has that stuttering every 2 seconds issue.

^ Yep, although i only get it now when going to another menu option from that one, and its only the left hand menu, and along the top that blacks out. :P EDIT: Wonder why Raptr never appeared in the list of what to install when doing a custom, as just had a look inside the AMD folder, and the Raptr folder is there, with its installer.

What i did to fix that was use windows uninstaller first before using DDU. I used to uninstall directly from DDU and always had the same problem untill i did it this way and never had that problem again. So now i uninstall the catalyst software untill it prompts you to restart then press no and run DDU to go to safe mode or do it manually

Yer right, i didn't, but its always said that hasn't it ?, then when the list appears, you untick Raptr. :P

So, after installing CCC 14.9 I couldn't play games, couldn't load a browser with 'use hardware acceleration' on and when I check dxdiag my computer would crash. I would get audio stuttering and then a complete freeze. Had to hard restart. Rolled back to 14.7 RC3 beta and all is good. This is a very bad release in my opinion for having to wait so long for non beta release. I think it had something to do with directshow. Be wary of this new release.

we dont have any of these problems...reinstall windows,, thats can resolve this

These seem to have broken crossfire for me in Stalker Lost Alpha, it's now a flickering mess. I honestly don't know how they managed to break things for a game that was working perfectly fine and isn't even a commercial product. Edit: Using the 14.4 dll's posted by MerolaC in his thread fixed the problem. Weird though that it only gave me problems with crossfire enabled. Looks like I'll be ditching these as soon as the next betas hit hoping that I won't have to use 3rd party work arounds to get things working properly. :bang:

BF4 runs smooth and problem free for the vast majority of users. It must be something with your system.

BF4 runs great for me using DX11, but is absolutely unplayable using mantle on my 290. The last time I tried turning it on to see if it had improved I could barely navigate the menus to switch it back to DX11.

installing right now. Just put water cooler on my 2nd 7950. well see how crossfire works with these. Gotta test the crossfire for Watch Dogs. Only new game that crossfire doesnt work so well for me.

Bugger.. I'm still getting the CCC host application error and then it closes. :S Event logs: Faulting module name: amdmantle64.dll My 5850s aren't even mantle-enabled yet that dll is causing my CCC to crash.

Same exact issue, started since the leaked drivers after 14.4. I've renamed the file so I can use this update, but I hope this gets fixed soon.

I have a big favor to ask anyone with the yellow mark error after a DDU cleanup. To fix this I need an export of your registry right after a DDU cleanUP and one right after the workaround you have (unintalling via control panel + DDU) If someone can give me that than it will be GG for this error 🙂 an export is rather big so please zip it 🙂 At first look, it seem something related to recent cards, you guys seems to all have 290s.(something I don't have) Also, PM it to me, do not post it here (for security reason)

Ugh, everything above 13.12 continues to give me annoyingly enhanced microstutter in Skyrim, even using RadeonPro. Huh, disabling Dynamic Framerate Control seems to help. Odd, I used to have to have that on in order to help with stutter.

I'm quite happy with these! Fan RPM counter is back on Afterburner. And system is rock stable after a good 6 hours of gaming, between Skyrim, Oblivion, Dirt3, etc... See you on next WHQLs!
