On those drivers my screen can't wake up after idle. The 14.7RC and 14.9 was great, and this not. Revert back to 14.9 as they work good, and have all the same stuff as those.

These drivers sorted out the very low drops in FPS I was getting in Shadow of Mordor and it looks like FPS has improved slightly... Only 1 issue... If I Alt+Tab out of the game I come back to a black screen.. Alt+F4 is my only solution. Anyone else having this problem ?

When that happens, open the Task Manager and minimize the game. And then when you show it again it's good.

WHQL 14.9 brought me the shutdown when in a game like bf4. After that I updated tot Beta 14.9.1 and now I've the problem that when I play bf4 for a while I get this error: https://imageshack.com/i/p5SFFB0nj

Installed and force Vsync stopped working not even radeonpro can do anything, so these and 14.9WHQL are pure crap of a drivers.

Late again with all the crossfire profiles for the newer games whats the point in crossfire if we have to wait months for drivers -.- what ever happened to the CAP's they used to put up, never going crossfire again :bang: Also ULPS is still broken with these drivers my system hangs on reboot if I don't disable it.

Radeon 7000 series Mantle Improvements? I have not checked every driver version but I think non of them have mentioned mantle improvements for the Radeon 7900 GCN 1.0 series as promised in release notes. I seen in 14.9 they now have 8000 series mobile now compatible with mantle. I have not upgraded drivers in a while... just throwing the question out there? Have they improved mantle for 7900 series?

There have been no promises made for GCN 1.0 mantle optimization other than "Before Release" That having been said, many people are getting great results with GCN 1.0 cards. Others, not so much. 7950/7970 from what ive seen shouldnt have any issues. Pitcairn on the other hand is a mess. lol

I have an issue with 14.9 and 14.9.1 drivers monitor is not waking up after idle mode 14.4 worked fine.

I had all kind of problems, also the one when my display didn't wake up, but now I've reinstalled my pc and it's working great! :banana: And I'm using the 14.9.1 beta driver.

Mantle will get a new version when Dragon Age is released, it will get the GCN1.0 full support you want

This driver will sometimes not wake up my Dell monitor after i have left the PC for a bit. When the monitor goes into a low power state that's me having to reset the PC to get display back. :bang: Running a HD7970 with a Dell U2312HM Monitor and 14.9.1 drivers :order: Sort it out AMD Rolling back to the last betas.

I have the same problem, but instead of restarting I just unplug the DVI and plug it back it in.

Most of the driver problems occur because your cards are overclocked by the vendor.

Is anyone else getting a massive memory leak with these drivers ? Just had 96% of 12GB RAM in use playing AI, eventually the machine bugged out, game crashed, lost eyefinity, all 3 displays ended up in 1024x768 and then I had no choice but to reboot, everything started not responding Only just updated to these drivers like 30 mins before

I have encountered the very same issues. Sure, I only have 4GB of ram, but AI would max it out, stutter, and then essentially was impossible to recover. No choice but to reboot. Switched to 14.x rc1 and everything is butter again... except for a few browser anomalies.

The issue Espionage724 was talking about is horrible, happens when you OC memory too. An very easy fix would be setting up for a "minimum" UVD clock, i.e. as long as the memory clock is not below the thing - simply don't change it. Should be like 5 min worth of work (at card bios level, or driver, not sure which one is responsible for activating the UVD), but instead AMD prefers the forums to get filled with complains about instability of the cards. Go figure.

Kind of strange as in my 6850m BIOS the UVD clock is clearly indicated when I open up the BIOS.

It is. The point it is a static value that is forced upon everything. The common example - I play game, clocked a bit higher to have smooth gameplay, but getting stuck, switching to youtube to find a soltion - crash. I don't say the UVD is the source of every and all problems, but it is a major one.
