Just realised, it will still be in them, as these are just a newer set of the 14.1s :P
Sure, but we can wish for such a small fix to make it to such a small update, right?

Believe it or not, the v-sync issue is still present and,.. it's also not mentioned in the known issues list. Another month offun,.. not.
Yeah i can confirm this. Vsync stuttering on R9 290x crossfire still there, going back to 13.11 beta 9.2.

Indeed, but im guessing Mantles getting priority.

Notebooks based on AMD Enduro or PowerXpress™ technologies are currently not supported by the Mantle codepath "and never will."

No Mantle performance improvement (FIX) for BF4 in 7XXX series for me AS PROMISED!!!:puke2: ...only good thing is vsync issue (no triple buffer in some cases) seems to be solved, at least for me (unigine valley doesnt drop to 30 fps if below 60 when vsync is enabled)...once again disappointed with amd :thumbdown PD: Also exactly 1fps increased performance in Thief :eek3:

So far no issues on i7 3930k and 2x R9 290's. Like 14.1 Beta 1, quite a nice performance gain in Battlefield 4 Multiplayer (2560x1440 Ultra), and much more stable in terms of crashes and stutter (None so far). Game feels much more responsive now, and when alt-tabbing it's way faster.

Works fine here on windows 8.1 But not great, more or less the same as the previous drivers. So I'm not gonna use them in win7.

Just tested Thief and Battlefield 4 in DX11 mode and all maxed out. Everything works flawlessly, smooth and high fps. I did safe mode minimal DDU uninstalling and Treexy Driver Sweeper premium driver wipe out before installing. OS: Windows 8.1 x64

After few mins I got this... used DDU no OC etc... NICE AMD getting better 🤓 http://img.techpowerup.org/140225/IMAG0016.jpg
Is it freezing when that happens? Just read about a guy with the very same screen in some other forum. It happens when he's on youtube

how many people with supported cards and not on cougar point (P67) have forgotten to disable the intel igpu in device manager? It doesnt matter weather you use it or not, its still enabled.

Fails to install. Display driver installation failed. Back to 14.1, I'm done with AMD.

Must be a bug with the 14.xx driver sets, my core being locked at 1030 on startup, as its gone and randomly locked again after a restart with these, just like with the 14.1s. When i was back on the 13.12 WHQLs, the core never locked at all, no matter how many times i restarted. Still, it hasn't caused the massive frame drop the 14.1s did, all still normal, so no need for another clean, re-install. 🙂

mine was locked at 947 on 14.1, and would lose performance (fps) after a period of idle. ill let you known once i install these. freaken AMD server is slow as hell. anyone have a faster mirror?

I'm as disappointed as well mate, but they didn't promised anything, they said they would be including these performance increases in a future Catalyst release, not in the absolute next one.
I've got a 280x (basically rebranded 7970ghz) and my mantle performance in BF4 is already quite good. The previous BF4 patch fixed any stuttering/performance issues I had with mantle, and this latest one fixed the gamma issues. I get all around way better performance in bf4 with mantle over dx11 (With DX11 I often drop down to 40-50 fps, particularly on Seige of shanghai and Hanai resort, with mantle it almost never even goes below 70-75 on any map) I just played like 5 matches in a row today with mantle and was butter smooth the whole time 🙂 Considering its still very early days and amd has said its not even optimized for this card yet I'm pretty impressed with the performance so far.

DDU v11.3 doesn't delete amdmantle64.dll from system32 or syswow64 folders and maybe these drivers don't replace the file..? Just saying. I don't know about newer versions of DDU. With the previews drivers i had system lock ups in Skyrim and in Shift2. Tryied these drivers with Shift and it seems ok so far. Good performance also.

11.3 is old, get 12.3 They are both gone from my systems folders. Mantle support was added with 12.0

Latest DDU version is 12.3 and supports the removal of the Mantle driver. (Since version 12.0 beta) You should do a new cleanup + install. http://www.wagnardmobile.com/DDU/ Edit: The Mac beat me to it :P

Yeah.. Don't worry about me.. HD5870 here 🙂 11.3 does it's job. I said it for the others who have problems with mandle. Maybe this will help. Me no mandle 🙁

HAH!! You just spoke down to someone who has had a pc since the DX days, I think I **** know what entails with a Beta driver. Why should I tell everyone what wrong? God christ ATI users really are up their own arses :wanker: ps I've never had ANY overheating issues, hardware failures or other with Nvidia based beta drivers.
I've had a PC since the XT days.... What exactly does that have to do with anything? The reason for stating what's wrong, is so that others who may have experienced the same issue and found a resolution could assist. My question is, how exactly do you bitch about driver issues while not providing any details....and yet still insult others? My recommendation for you is quite simple. If you think so highly of NVidia and so poorly of AMD....go back to NVidia.
