AMD Catalyst™ 14.11.1 Beta Driver for Windows® - Call of Duty®: Advanced Warfare and Assassin’s Creed® Unity Performance Driver!
This release enables peak driver performance optimization for AMD Radeon™ graphics
Highlights of AMD Catalyst™ 14.11.1 Windows® Beta Driver
Performance Improvements
• Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare performance optimizations
• Assassin’s Creed Unity performance optimizations
Known Issues
•Occasional stuttering in Assassin’s Creed® Unity in CrossFire mode under specific game settings
•Small chance of intermittent screen tearing or corruption in Call of Duty®: Advanced Warfare on high settings 4K resolution in AMD CrossFire™ mode
•Quad CrossFire AMD Radeon™ R9 295X2 may sometimes black screen when loading a game in Call of Duty®: Advanced Warfare
•AMD Radeon™ R9 280X/280 may experience a crash when playing Call of Duty®: Advanced Warfare and a video at the same time. If you experience this issue a work around is turning off the video while playing the game.
•CrossFire users may experience intermittent flickering in Call of Duty®: Advanced Warfare menus. As a work around if this issue is seen restarting the game may cause the issue to disappear.
Important Notes
AMD is currently working with Activision to resolve the following issues in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare:
• Users in AMD CrossFire™ mode sometimes experience texture corruption
• Negative scaling sometimes being observed at specific resolutions with AMD CrossFire™

What happened with the 14.400 branch from the opencl 2 driver?

Did not work for me. First noticed slowdown in BF4. Confirmed with 5% loss in 3D Mark. Back to 14.9.2.

COD:AW
got a 40MB update and then a 6.1MB update and things have improved.
I find it best to get into party, for some reason I have MUCH better connection and the game runs much smoother this way. Some maps still lag like crap though.
I also turned down textures from Extra to High and put Shadow Map Resolution on Normal.
Game runs a lot better this way.

This driver works better but not nearly 100% for cod:aw. I get 100% cpu usage and about 60% per gpu. How can this game be more demanding than BF4

You know guys, threatening posts here about buying Nvidia cards won't get you anywhere.

Uh, minor tweaks for two games? That's it, really? I am starting to think they don't care about the black screen bug, which is much bigger problem than performance in a random game. Starting to lose faith here. Meanwhile, stuck with 14.4 with my 290.

Yeah really... fix the god damned memory leaks. Do you hear us, AMDMatt? Please tell your people... it's a great product, but it's literally completely unusable. And Direct3D multithreaded drivers are simply better with Nvidia at this point.
