^That's quite rich coming from a guy with an half empty gadget list. Not everyone here is a troll, ever wondered that he might've registered here just so he can share his problem in order to get a solution? I've been playing with tech before guru3D even existed, yet I only chose to register here a few weeks ago.

Need some explanation.
In some catalyst folders to install drivers manually.
CA - winxp 64
CH - vista 64
C7 - W7 64
C8 - W8 64
CU - Is that the new 8.1 drivers ? or i should install C8 ?
Because i always need to update both gpu manually in my notebook.
I'm using 8.1 RTM
NiColaoS
Just do it via Device Manager, point the Drivers folder and it will automatically get the appropriate files.

I have to make my presence... I am still alive and kicking!
Just installed 13.9 onto Windows XP. Radeon 7970.
It installed fine. Upgrade from 13.4.
Loaded up a bunch of games. They launched and played.
Seems stable. Ran Half Life 2 for an hour or so.
If anyone has any XP problems I probably own that game and can double test any stuff.
They didnt say they did any changes for XP... but I assume they must have done something... inbetween 13.4 and 13.9 for us XP users.
Edit Add:
To further update my situation... I practically gave away my third 7970 and went back down to Crossfire.(instead of trifire in windows 7)...
Just way too much heat with 3 cards in comparison of 2.
Plus the cards are really thick and the fans on the Gigabyte ones touch each other. Now I'm blabbing.

Turns out crossfire 7970 didnt work properly in Windows 7 in "the witcher 2 - enhanced edition"
Going to have to upgrade to 13.10

I think the integrated drivers are different.
I believe the integrated drivers are different from the discrete drivers.
You will have to download the proper driver.
You select value : Radeon Embedded or (prefferabley) Integrated Motherboard Graphics
Try select the proper chipset. or Video Card
I had a computer with a Integrated Radeon 3200 and the latest linux drivers were 8.921.......cause i had to go with Radeon Embedded and select the proper chipset.
kindof sucky since we are on 13.10 pretty soon.
If you e-mail AMD all they will tell you to do is unistall the graphics and
You can use a tool to remove all left over drivers if there are any left over drivers files that remain even after uninstall. Then try again.
Then if that does not work e-mail them back... yada yada.
