I'm playing online game with VSync on, and it's like I've tearing with stuttering in parallel. It's getting worse instead... lol. Went back to 13.4 and everything is better.
About the memory corruptions on Firefox on Windows 8... I don't get my hopes up anymore. As it seems they won't fix it ever.
The flashing of black artifacts ( dx9c issue ) still there in the same game ( War Thunder ). Rare but still...
Personally I understand the guy above who says he's getting more issues on his first AMD card than all his previous Nvidia cards combined... I feel I'm on the same boat. Perhaps it's the fact that the specific AMD issues are getting more often in our way. Bad luck but...

It's the well known flashing/flickering -call it as you'd like.
You know, I got many videos of this specific problem.
Now that you mention it, the same game has bigger problem on fade effects, indeed... And it has a lot of fade effects due to its open nature. I thought it was related to something called "z-fighting" or so... but I can't be sure.
I have no video on War Thunder, because as I said it's rare ( the flickering, not the fade-effects ) and I don't want to keep recording until I get it. It's enough and unfortunate that I see it.

Computer freezes when display is turned off in stand by after 10 minutes with this driver. Anyone else having this problem too?

I have a Sapphire 7850 1 GB OC edition: 900/1200 MHz by default.
Installed Catalyst 13.6b2.
System hangs after graphic artifacts using MSAA.....with no MSAA it's all right.
It's a known issue?

The Mac
try underclocking the card and see if ti still does it.

Lowering frequency solves the problem.....increasing +5% the powerlimit seems too.
I hate factory OC 😀

Thanks!

hi guys just to share my experience, i have bought a gigabyte 7950 windforce thats oced to 900-1000 boost as default, now ive been trying drivers etc and i had some lockups bluscreens, so being the person that i am, i just had to open up my video card to see if it was loose or somthing, well the thing is i found out that gigabytes thermal paste was bad, like it was done like a cookie, it would just tear off the gpu.
so i grabbed my AS5 pasted into my gpu and voila, i have yet to counter a bluescreen or any other issues, ive also noticed that some parts of the cooling where loose, i tighten that up too.
so what i mean by this, i advice you to check and dissasemble your video card try to see if anything is loose or if the thermal paste is of bad quality.
after my thermals was 80+c in furmark @ full load (heated up 30min run)
Now they are 60 stable in furmark @ full load (heated up 30min run)
so my findings are that maybe these heat spikes while gaming gave me the bosd's and it was because of faulty thermal paste.

Yeah, maybe it's a PSU related problem too.
With GPU@850 MHz (default 900) and powerlimit raised to +10% MSAA works and no more crashes.....

Flashed the BIOS with this: http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/131310/sapphire-hd7850-1024-121113.html
Now it's all right.....the old one was "015.022.000.007.000000" with factory OC.
