How come it's still not on the AMD website?

CCC doesn't work on my 6990, only the driver works. :bang:

May be its kind of pre beta test in narrow range to make sure their new driver won't cause massive videocards explosion or something like that.
But it's a WHQL driver?

what about caps?
They should be included in the install, you cant see them it just installs on its own. Its been like this since 13.1 drivers I think.

13.2, i believe 13.1 had a separate cap... I was under the impression the betas would have internal caps, and whqls would have separate caps due to the length of time required for certification. This appears to not be the case. Unless the cap comes out when AMD posts the officials...

cap=Catalyst Aplication Profile. they are driver level game performance tweaks. They are in a database that you dont see but executed when a game (or application) is detected running. They used to be in two pieces, part in the driver itself, and a separate installable extended database. Lateley, they've been stuffing them all into the driver. if you are curious what actually in the blb (database library) files, check this out: http://www.kn00tcn.net/site/ati-catalyst-profiles/

Just FYI, my 3rd rig has a HD6990 + HD6970, and driver install was a cinch. CCC works as well....

Thracks from OCN;
Since this driver gets released today, I can now comment: 13.4 WHQL is the Microsoft-certified version of 13.3 Beta. Aside from the addition of HD 7990 support, it offers no additional improvements.

The HDMI driver now loads correctly, actually the first driver I can use since 12.7B4. HDMI audio is still stuttering and the only fix (that is working) is to set PP_SclkDeepSleepDisable to 1.
Genius! Many thanks as I just tried that with the newest betas, the 13.5b2's and it fixed my HDMI audio. I'm going to try this now with the official 13.4's. Btw, the 13.3 beta 3's hve working HDMI audio for me, the first drivers in a long time to do so. Sadly, my Netflix app under Windows 8 is broken with all recent drivers. Only works with the 13.1 WHQL's. P.S. In regedit I looked for PP_SclkDeepSleepDisable and set it to 1. Doing so affected a lot of other entries but not all. I set it one more time and that took care of all the rest. Lol, I should have payed closer attention but I was jammed up.

Seems this fixes the pinkish hue you would get when selecting EDID on Color temperature Control.
It doesn't fix it. Still pinkish hue on my Dell 3008WFP! :bang:
