They could be a bit more descriptive with the changelogs. I mean it would be perfectly ok if they just added "various internal bugfixes" or something like that, because they way it is you'd think they only fixed one issue with one game, which is... weird?

alright, best way to update amd drivers? uninstall, driver clean in safe mode then install new? haven't installed amd drivers in ages!!! anything to back up?

D3D, and OGL have not changed from beta6 there are no other fixes.

Resolves an intermittent hang seen in Crossfire configurations with the new Crysis 3 patch. PLease please i hope to dear god this is the same issue im getting cause i cant play crysis 3 at all with crossfire enabled otherwize my system freezes then driver recovers and i know for a fact its not my overclock cause it does it at stock clocks to.... please let this be the fix. EDIT: nope still freezes and driver recovery with both my 7950s in crossfire, only works for me in single gpu mode 🙁 this is bull**** thats what this is.

Sadly, didn't rectify my crysis 3 "hangs" in xfire, still suffering from occasional DX_GI_ERROR claptrap. Sad, too, as crossfire performance (especially when combined the unequaled Radeonpro feature set , I.e. dynamic v-sync) has soared in nearly every recent (2 years or so) AAA title I've tested subsequent the splendiferous 12.11 driver. Currently I am functioned by dual 7970 lightnings running 1125 / 1600 as my Crysis 3 exclusive hyper underclock. Typically stable @ 1300 / 1600 though, unfortunately at x16 & x8 pci-e 2.0 (though its largely irrelevant). I am going to do a sweep of drivers and operate stock clocks, see if it rectifies this sad & frustrating blemish on AMDs quarter-long, incredible driver optimization flip flop we users have been benefactors of.

Do your hangs happen randomly ? and when they do happen every time you try again you freeze at the same spot you previously freezed at lol with a driver has been recovered ? thats what happens to me all the bloody time its annoying the **** out of me cause i cant fully enjoy the game.... of are your hangs different, ? mine happen be it stock or oc`d cant be my cards as this issue only happens with crysis 3, hell the open beta i could play without a single crash but see this final release its doing my nut in.

Any chance the HDMI sound issue is resolved in Beta 7? I am still stuck on 13.2 Beta4 because i have to have the HDMI sound running to me TV as a second screen? Please tell me its fixed 🙂 If not will keep waiting patiently. Thanks Guys. Oh yeah and the drivers are needed for twin 7970s. Also if 7 does fix the HDMI sound issue what cap do we use? The same one as always 12.2 or whatever it was? Again thank you MybadOmen

HDMI sound drivers still have issues with 7 series cards, i always get Exclamation marks after a reboot from HDMI drivers win 7 x64 and its the same as with beta 7...

Try turning off any o/c programs, only o/c through the ccc. Disable core parking, make sure your cpu can run prime95 without hanging.

I do the same since it's faster and so far has always worked, every time I check all the files that should be updated are updated and the registry info and profiles I don't really care much about. There are benefits from doing a clean setup as well I believe (And AMD and Nvidia both seem to recommend it for troubleshooting purposes.) but I usually just install over. 🙂 Unsure what changed from 13.2b6 aside from Crysis 3 but I install it anyway. (Tomb Raider already seems to have a profile - http://www.kn00tcn.net/site/ati-catalyst-profiles/ - as does Bioshock Infinite, nothing for Resident Evil 6 though as far as I could tell.)

To anyone using crossfire, do you think its worth the investment? I really need some more gpu power but im a bit hesitant to add another card and end up dealing with microstutter ect. On the other hand i like to fix things and tweak stuff so i guess it wouldnt be a problem for me? Has cf improved alot through the years? Sorry for going off topic but i see alot of cf users in this thread 🙂 Nice to see amd releasing beta's occasionally.
