No I'm afraid not, GCN architecture only, so these optimizations effect series 7000 only.

Yeah most likely these are the drivers that were suppose to release a few months back to improve the 7k series just like last year with the 6k series getting a boost, but what I'm surprised is how much they can squeeze out of them and just in time for the holidays.

I would have been shocked if they made any improvements to the 6000 series. I'd settle for a completely stable driver at this point.

Hurry up and bring the 89xx series AMD im waiting for you 😀 , very nice boost in performance , obviously now its on par with the 680gtx same level now both cards. Enjoy the free boost guys i shall wait for the new cards.

Front my point of view the hd6000 series didn't suffer from performance issues, only the new hd7000 series cause of the new architecture.

It is only 1 quarter and they are restructuring. It is never good news but many companies have posted profit warnings or losses, just a sign of the times. It is a strong brand and will either bounce back or be bought out.

It's just swings between the two companies for their top end cards. The competition is good for us. Without it we wouldn't have any new innovative cards, PC gaming would probably die as consoles takeover. Anyway this is OT.

yes i want matrix amd say free games with 7970 so its 7970 i want free games so i can sell them lol the other cards this is listed in cart along with card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16800995140 No answer on newegg live chat it seems to be dead. How come every time i get red i get hosed somehow i did not even get the card yet either. just got off the phone with ne rep......nope sry no codes with that card fudge it newegg will get the card back then i cant understand no code with the most expensive card and the only one not to have a code. so i will get the cheapest pos 7970 for $100 less then the matrix and get $120 in games for free.
