that would be ideal imo, sli and a dedi. i since found out my mobo only has two pcie lanes so yeah, i do worry about the PhysX breaking the scaling, having two more beefier cards would be the way to go. ideally for me x2 970 8gb.
I see. The thing with the express lanes is one of the main reasons why I'll switch to x99 platform later this year 😉

i'm quite happy as i still have some things to do with my rig, firstly i'm wondering if a platinum psu can OC components any better than bronze psu. will be nice to see.
Well bronce and platinum is merely about efficiency, not about output. Actually, bronce and platinum PSUs should give out (as in, give your computer components like gpu and cpu) just about the same power, with marginal differences. The difference is rather about what it pulls out of the wall socket, I think.

400 to 450€ I guess for the reference. Of course, might end up 400 to 450$, but just in the US 🙄

witcher 3 will use 4.5gb with ultra textures and uber view distances, making our future 8gb purchases worthy. no bottlenecking over here no sir. x2 960 8gb that's what i'm talking about. haha
Finally got around to playing through Witcher 2:EE a couple months ago and those UBER settings were probably the most punishing options i've ever seen in a game. It really b*tch slapped my previous GTX 680, and convinced me to upgrade to a 780ti which runs the game with everything maxed, including UBER @ 1200p/60. Only had it drop below 60 a few FPS while passing through the big ghost battle. I even had the damn card cranked to over 1200mhz! Because of that, I fear Witcher 3.
