It connects to devices using USB 3.1 at up to 5Gbps
So... it connects to devices using USB 3.0? Funny to me how ADATA is pulling an Apple here. Take a generic design that many other companies have used, add some curves to it, and suddenly it's stylish. Example: http://img.dxcdn.com/productimages/sku_146399_1.jpg

@Humanoid_1 Have you tried TRIMing the flash drives? Windows is pretty sloppy when it comes to TRIM, where it attempts to do it on a schedule rather than in real-time. That being said, flash drives have a much lower probability of being optimized since they're not always plugged in.

@schmidtbag I eventually found that flash drive hidden in a side pocket of a rucksack I rarely use. Using CrystalDiskMark 4.0.3 (same version I last tested with) I got Sequential Read & Write: Read = 218.3 MB/s Write = 63.33 MB/s Pretty happy with that for a £20 stick. Now I just need to find one of similar performance that is available to buy at such a price today.
Nice, so it was just a TRIM problem all along?
